I started to call the manager to complain but this will do for now. My mother is a senior citizen and went inside to order lunch. Jakari, the young man at the register had an attitude with her, she says. She stated that he acted liked he didn't want to work and gave her a cup for tea which he was suppose to get. He made it seem like it was her fault when she gave him the cup back. She also had to wait a long time. People were coming in after her and had gotten their orders before her. She was not treated with any courtesy and respect. This guy better hope he live to get her age. If you don't want to serve people and at least pretend like you like your job then do yourself a favor and don't get a job in customer service. This really upset her and she will not be going back. They also lock the doors sometimes so you have no choice but to go through the drive thru. Make up your minds people. Are you open or closed for dine in or take out. JAKARI needs to be working in the back or not at all. I know its fast food but no one at any age deserves that kind of treatment. He needs a class in customer service. I would stand up for elderly people who are blatantly disrespected. If you can't stay away from this Popeyes then at least stay away from the red beans and rice and make sure your chicken is cooked and not too salty. The red beans and rice is either old or too dry or spoiled. One time I went there and they only gave me an order of soupy beans, no rice. The chicken was salty and dry. It tasted old and I had to throw it all away before it made me sick. I wish I knew my mom was going there because I would have told her not to. Now she knows.
Waited in the drive through. 5 cars ahead of me. I got to the order window and placed my order for a fish sandwich.I pull up to the window and she asks , "What was your order again ? " I told her I ordered the fish sandwich. A other worker comes up to the window and says "You couldn't have order the fish sandwich, because we don't have the fish sandwich.I said , " I wasn't told that when I ordered it" I pulled off before they had a chance to respond.I have had issues with this location before. I tried to support this location but I am done. Can't deal with lousy customer service
They cross contaminate seafood and chicken together! So if you have a serious allergy to seafood don't trust it. They use to not do that back in the day when they were located inside of the Kroger stores. Everyone trying to cut cost. And then the lines are EXTREMELY TOO LONG of you're picking up food for someone! Because the one on Candler Rd the staff was coming out one by one leaving the kitchen, sitting and eating food from another restaurant! How I know because They were in the window by three drive thru! They never came out to tell us anything. Wait times 30- 1hr! And the doors were locked!
I ordered a 2 piece w/ red beans and rice. First I noticed the chicken wasn't fried as hard as it usually was and secondly the taste didn't taste like popeyes fried chicken normally did. Later that nite my stomach started hurting and by 10:00pm. I was going to the bathroom with runny boo boo every 2hrs. Somewhere in between that I started vomiting up the very food I had recently purchased from Candler Road Popeyes. The food I ate from Popeyes Chicken caused my bodily system to experience food poising. I couldn't even go to work the next day because of it. I will not be eating from another Popeyes Chicken ever again.
Heard that this was one of the best Popeyes around, Yes indeed. Friendly staff and great customer service. Clean all around. Yesterday was busy but things moved efficiently. Love that chicken from Popeyes jingle belongs to this location ?
Rudeness to the extreme. But judging from other reviews talking about the same thing, they don't care cause they're still selling a whole lot of chicken no doubt. I myself will never step foot in this particular Popeye's restaurant ever again. The place gives off a bad vibe anyway. Negative energy everytime I went. Nobody smiling. Just not what you typically experience from employees at a restaurant. Miscounted my change once by $5. Went back the next day to eat and heard a guy at the register say, you shorted me $5. Odd coincidence I'd say. I wish I had gotten the name of the lady with the rude mouth talking to me like I was her kid she hated. And me probably 30 years her senior.
I asked for CLASSIC fish sandwich and I received spicy. I stopped going to Popeyes because they always give me spicy foods when I want CLASSIC!!! No I didn't take it back at work and they're not giving gas money!
Attempted to utilize the app whereas a coupon code provided a 14-piece chicken tenders family meal for $19.99. After sitting in line for nearly 15 minutes to place my order I arrived at the speaker and give my coupon code. The cashier is at first confused as to why I am reading numbers to her. And when I explained that it is the coupon code for the app she then says "Oh what is the coupon for?" I tell her how the coupon reads and she says I'm sorry we are out of chicken tenders. I then attempt to open an alternate coupon code in the app however since the original code was open it would not allow me to select a different one. As I attempted to explain this to the cashier and ask if I should come around for her assistance she tells me that she cannot take my order at the drive-up window and that I would need to open the coupon in my app or pay full price a $9 price difference. I decided to wait and dine at another establishment. I must say that perhaps their inability to assist me with the coupon was to my benefit because as I drove off I saw two huge rats emerging from near the rear door of the restaurant. I'll admit I have never had any other horrible experiences at this particular location but it appears as though since my last review it has gone downhill tremendously. I believe for the safety of my family I will no longer dine at this location.
Worst Popeyes! Front door is always close and they refuse to serve you unless you have a car , and when you do have a car the line be 30-40min wait , and they never have tenders , also I asked for a sprite and they literally gave me a cup of water
Run away. This place is a joke. 30 min for cold food and the employees are not working. It's a big joke just see you in line and after you order and then say we are out of that. It's chicken and what you get is wrong and cold. Run away from any Popeyes. The store is going broke all of them. Run run run. Lost business. By Popeyes!!
