I went here on a whim because it's pretty close to me but my first time dining here will be the last time I'll be dining here. When I walked in and didn't see a single Latino working or dining there, that should have been the red flag but I dined anyways.I paid extra for a steak burrito that was as tough as leather. Allegedly it had cheese on it. You know how if you slice a burrito in half, you'd expect to see the tortilla wrapped all the way around it? This was more like a taco so it totally fell apart as soon as you started peeling back the foil.The waitress seemed like a nice person but didn't give me any type of service. Not even lime with my Dos Equis or some water.It would be a lower review but I got half a pitcher of Dos Equis for less than $7 so that's a win in my book. Eat somewhere else and then come here for the cheap drinks.
At this point I'm nearly done with my food. I could careless about the price at this point. Definitely on point, so good!! I'll be returning for sure. They hit the nail on the head!!Our waitress will be also getting a nice tip. Thank you For good food and good service!BtW it was not expensive at all, my food for myself was $14 and it filled me up! I left $20tip total $34 :)
I will not be coming back here again. Twice I ordered my food online and I didn’t receive an email confirmation stating that my order was received nor was my order actually received at the restaurant. Then when I got my order it was partially correct. The second time I ordered a beef burrito and got a chicken burrito instead. Plus based on the online picture of the burrito, I was expecting to get rice, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, and cheese. All I got was chicken and the cheese and some type of sauce. This is unacceptable!! I don’t play when it comes to customer service so I will give a 1 star rating. If you advertise and show a picture of the food item, then make sure it is what I will be getting. That’s false advertisement. I don’t have time for inconvenience!!!! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Looks like I will go to Willy’s Mexicana Grill where they always get my order correct.
I had a great time here for karaoke on Saturday night. Staff was super friendly, and it was a great fun crowd. Food and drink are great, with excellent prices. I'll be back.
Trying to figure out why I can never get a drink once I walk in unless Dot is working. I’m sitting here with a customer ( Mr. Melvin) talking for about 20 minutes the bartender Ian give him a drink but never asked me. Then another customer walked in (Mr. Jerry) sat right beside us. He served him. The customer I was talking to after 30 minutes told Ian to give me a drink on him. I told him I’m good you don’t have to order a drink for me cause Ian saw me just like he seen you and the other young man that walked in 45 minutes after us. Trying to support black own business. But I won’t be back unless Dot is working. The only reason I’m here is because my sister love coming here on Tuesday for karaoke. Sad just sad I can see if I’ve walked out and didn’t pay and came back. Please let me know why?
I've been there twice. Both times I was disappointed in the food. Price was good. Service was ok but just the food was not good either time. Would go back for drinks.Update: went a third time with co-workers and even worst then first two experiences. Drink made wrong and was way too sweet... and slow service (took 20 mins for queso and stale chips). Manager called and took about 15 mins to come to table all the while looking at and avoiding us.
The service was speedy and good. You can tell there's a regular crowd here and they keep coming because the food AND the service is great. The live band was just icing on the cake. They took and honored live requests and made the guests feel special with the interaction. We had an awesome time and I'll be bringing my out of town guests and local friends alike. ❤️
Food was bland, no seasoning, plus it was dry. I ordered queso and chips, they gave me beans. Black people cooking Mexican food. Don’t go!!!!
My boyfriend and I had to leave early for an emergency, and we told the lady we had to leave for an EMERGENCY! She instantly got an attitude and said our food was “almost done” after us sitting there for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, during those 30 minutes, I had ordered an alcoholic beverage and never received it and we had to ask to get something to drink, that we were never even offered. The lady continued to go back and forth with us over us having to leave because we were “wasting food”! That wasn’t even done yet! We paid for our little soft drink sodas and left! NEVER AGAIN!
This restaurant is Veryyy inattentive to take out orders and the food is just ok at the most ! This is my 2nd time ordering from a food delivery service . Two different ones and I had missing & incorrect food items both times. On a separate occasion I went with a friend to place a take out order and the food was inaccurate . Beef vs steak etc . This time there were no fries in what was ordered as a taco combo. Wings that I specifically requested wet as the option was given, were extremelyyy dry not even prepared to your normal mild preparation. I also called to the restaurant specifically this time to remind them to send sauces with my food. They failed to put all requested sauces noted in the order regardless of my attempts to communicate it verbally. Wings with no ranch . Only 2 small salsas with a large plate of loaded nachos and 3 tacos. No requested sauce for fish taco. This makes a huge difference for me considering the food is already mediocre. It would be beneficial to make justified effort to ensure orders are filled in totality. You would charge me for extra sauces , fries , etc had I requested. Alternately from that same stance, you should be just as aimed at ensuring customers’ requests! Take out is a pretty good option in assisting to run a successful, lucrative business in today’s time , don’t lose sight that this avenue of customers is just as valuable.
