An absolute Decatur gem. Their pancakes are delish and weekend specials get things moving. The home fries are not to be missed. They also have Batdorf & Bronson coffee with free refills. Can’t ask for more.

Great food and pastries, as always. They don't have full table service (short-staffed), but you can order at the counter and dine at a table.

I have achieved regular status at this, my favorite breakfast spot in Dekalb county. The biscuits are simply the best.

After all the great reviews my wife and I decided to go here for lunch today. My wife ordered a Club sandwich. Even though there was no mention of condiments on the menu, it came slathered with more mayo than I would put on 2 sandwiches of this size. Trust me, it was a lot and she really dislikes mayo. She took as much off as she could and said it was ok but would have been really good without the mayo. The cashier did not ask her what condiments my wife wanted, if any, so that was her fail. I ordered a Sandwich a Go Go (Ham, Swiss). Since it was a custom sandwich I was asked what I wanted on it (Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Mayo and Brown Mustard). The sandwiches arrived and like my wife's, mine had more mayo than I've ever seen on a sandwich. Fortunately, I like Mayo so I just scraped the excess off and fully enjoyed it. Towards the end of our meal at about 2:08, we asked for refills of tea and water. The restaurant closes at 2:30 p.m. but we were told the tea had already been cleaned out and there was no more. The waitress brought us 2 glasses of water but no offer of anything else instead. So food was ok, but could have been better. Service ok, but could have been better. This review could easily have been a 5 star review., but 3 is all I can give for this visit.

We had a great breakfast here. Breakfast sandwiches are a great value. Mine had the in-house sausage, which was fantastic. Prices are good. Looking forward to the pastries we took home with us!

I visited this establishment 3.25.22 and truly enjoyed the experience. Friendly staff, friendly customers, welcoming atmosphere. A must visit. The cupcakes, cookies were awesome. My grilled chicken sandwich was mouthwatering.Looking forward to returning in July for our family reunion.

The food is ok. The woman at the front with the fake friendly, high, sing-song voice is anything but sunny and friendly. (Imagine the receptionist from office space) The voice is clearly forced and I truly believe she uses it bc she thinks it will seem less rude when she’s being a jerk. She’s clearly not built for customer service and the reason we will never return. (I have to assume she owns it or why would they keep her after so many bad reviews about her specifically.)

I eat at Pastries a Go Go at least once a week, usually more. The locally-owned restaurant has been serving up fresh baked goods, breakfast and lunch longer than most restaurants in the Atlanta area. It's tucked away in a strip center near downtown Decatur, so easy to miss, but the perk is that there's always easy and free parking. What I like best about the restaurant is that it is affordable with good/fresh/simple food. Plus, the staff is friendly. The chicken salad is absolutely amazing (and I normally don't like chicken salad), or go for the hearty BLT, a breakfast sandwich with made-in-house pork sausage or one of the other many menu or freshly-made bakery items. On weekends only they also offer sausage gravy that tastes like your mom's.

Nothing special, omelette was smaller than expected for the price, grits were bland, biscuits and gravy had a funny taste and were barely luke warm. On the bright side though, the omelet was tasty and they use that good thick bacon. Gravy had a good amount of sausage

I walked in just past closing. An employee looked irate and disgusted with me. She said “sorry we are closed”. I asked if I could quickly just take a peak at a menu. She then looked like I just shot her cat. I only wanted to understand why type of food/prices they had and then I was going to leave. She said “good look at our menu outside”. It’s like 40 degrees out. I said “F it I’ll never come back”. She then condescendingly said “no problem”!
