Food was ok...would have been better if I loved butter because all of the dishes were loaded with it. The shrimp in the shrimp scampy were soft from the breadcrumbs...the meatball & chicken dishes were good. The insulata Verde was good but way too much creamy dressing (should have asked for it on the side). For dessert, the tiramusu was dry & didn't have as much taste as I was expecting...the Frose sorbet was good. The service was excellent & ambiance lively...

My date and I had a wonderful time at No. 246. I have never had a bad experience at this fine restaurant. The waitress, who's name I do not have, was very nice and accommodating.
This was my spouse and my second visit to 246. Itâs clear why reservations must be made well in advance to eat here. It is a well-run and well-thought out concept restaurant.

Dinner of tagliatelle bolognese and flounder with capers was excellent. Service was excellent as well and was always there with water or anything else we needed. We ate early so the noice level was pretty quiet since there were some empty tables. Excellent place for casual dinner or for a special occasion.

We live in the area, but had not tried out 246 as had heard it was pricey and very loud. Those are both accurate. It is a "new" menu with basic pastas, pizzas, and a few classic meat dishes. I will say we had a great dinner despite the high price for some "basic" Italian food. We had some of the best service we have had in years from our waiter Christian. He helped us pick dishes and a great wine, and was attentive and fun. The food was really good- better than I expected. I would describe it as classics done really well. The Burrata was amazing. I had chicken scaloppini limone , and my fiancé had the orecchiette, and both were really great. If you don't mind the price, the service and the food were great.
Noise level is too high for relaxed conversation. Turn down music and patrons wonât be screaming across their tables to one another. Thanks
