Don't wait in those long, long, long lines for SPICY chicken! I've had this three times and EACH time it was the same. GREAT! The chicken was juicy AF. That's my sincere experience. I've lived in the area for many years however never ate there but in 2022 that changed 3 times. Great prices, very good taste for a area soul food restaurant.
Although the food is not bad,someone need to talk to the young lady with the car lashes on,she has a nasty attitude .her customer service is horrible.
The food is always good , I come here all the time and order the fried chicken white meat , lama beans , and macaroni and cheese. I can’t stop licking my fingers it’s so delicious. The staff is pleasant, the store is always clean inside and out. When they close I get so upset because they’re really the best soul food in Decatur to me. Thank you for this place and the awesome recipes.
Went here on yesterday and ordered the Boss wings and mac and cheese. Early this morning my stomach has been killed me. Up and down sense 2am running to the bathroom and finally was able to vomit and relieved my stomach. I have learned my lesson on eating out and will never refer or go back here again. If you eat at this location be very careful!!!!
Order the 2 piece tilapia and shrimp with cabbage and Mac and cheese. The fish was over cooked and to hard to eat, the shrimp was like the frozen shrimp in the grocery store. Mac and cheese was ok and cabbage was decent. Didn't see their food rating of 86 until we had already ordered. The nasty thing was the young lady taking the money went right to fixing food without wash her hands even though there was a sink right there in the front. Ironically, I went to look over previous food rating and they was previously cited for no washing there hands....Won't be back...
Ordered the 2 piece tilapia & 5 shrimp dinner. Food was OK but our tilapia was fried a little hard, and our shrimp looked like the battered frozen shrimp you buy at the store. The cabbage was decent but the yams were clunky and had SO MANY STRINGS in them.
Soul Food at high quality and portions you don't experience a lot. My respect to the cooks and those who took care of us
Horrible customer service.overpriced average food. Not a pleasant environment to spend money in.There's a burger king across the street that will probably be a better choice.
I tell you this place is the best every time I come here they treat me rite plus the food is just delicious
Not what I was expecting.. no seasoning, I asked for mashed potatoes and got sweet potatoes. Chicken was good. But no flavor.
