We used to eat drink frequently at Melton's more than 20 years ago. We moved and did not go back until last Saturday when we happen to drive by and decided to stop in for a bite and a beer. Long story short, it was a good call. Super friendly service, even the manager on duty checked in with us. It was like the 20 year gap never happened. We both had sandwiches which were delicious. We will be back soon.
Extremely attentive and professional wait staff. The waiter had a trainee with him, which he did a great job instructing as he took our order. Kept checking on us, the food was good, the pineapple cider draft was well carbonated and hit the spot. Priced reasonably for what we received.
I only came here for appetizers but I absolutely loved the fried deviled eggs. Warning, they are slightly spicy, but so worth it. It did take a while to get served at 4:30 on a Thursday, but our server was delightful and attentive once we got ahold of her.
I have loved Melton's for OVER 20 years. I worked at Emory for that period and frequently ate there for lunch. When on a lunch break, I found service was quick and we could be back in a timely manner. Now retired, I still enjoy meeting friends there for lunch. I love that when I want to eat healthy they have options for that, but they also have to-die-for delicious hamburgers, and a wide variety of sandwiches, nachos, etc. I love their cheese mini-biscuits that come with the tuna salad and other salads. The healthy option that I LOVE is the superfood bowl (which looks like pasta but is Brussels sprouts, and other healthy veggies). One huge thing about Melton's, now in retirement(!), is they don't rush you away if you want to lounge after lunch over your coffee refills. It is obvious that they train the servers to be polite, friendly, and attentive, which makes them a step above many others. This is a neighborhood gem for close to 30 years.
This is one of my favorite places to dine with friends. Casual, relaxed atmosphere and great service! Not fancy but comfortable and enjoyable. They have an awesome veggie burger, the flatbread pizza is also good.
Melton's has been our neighborhood "pub" for years. It feels like family whenever we go...always very welcoming, and consistently wonderful, dependable dishes, that we know will always be delicious. The staff always seem to go the extra mile to ensure your food & drinks are just what you wanted. Thanks to all, especially, Allison, Hannah, Crystal, Jack, and all those in the kitchen preparing & cleaning up and working so hard . We so appreciate you all. I had been looking forward to trying Melton's ever since I'd moved to the area recently. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The food was not at all what we were expecting.I ordered the Irish Nachos and Chicken Tenders with steamed vegetables. The chicken and vegetables were just bland and tasteless, not even the sauce that came with it could save the dish.The Irish Nachos which were very popular were at least alright.Unfortunately, I will not be returning after this experience.
Delicious entrees, especially the dilled chicken salad sandwich. The brownie is perfectly fudgey. The staff are so lovely.
NEVER disappointed! Nor the family! When I say, this is the best pub food I've ever had... It's the BEST. The waffle fries with the blue cheese dip????? I can't wait to come back once I get closer lol. Quality food since I've know about this place (2012) love it here.
