Food deserves 5 starts because it is Amazing… the issue is the prices are on the menu above the register for you to jus look at I guess because the pasta was 15 on the menu but rang up 18. Not a major issue but isn’t that false advertising? U cannot list one price then ring it up for another. Then when you ask about it they say O THE MENU NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. Well it’s been months because I see other people here complaining about the same issue. Until the menu is updated you need to either cover the prices or DO GOOD BUSINESS AND HONOR THE PRICE LISTED. Honesty and integrity go a long way! Wat a shame because this place has amazing food
I was hesitant to add my review. I wanted to support this restaurant so bad, as I’m walking distance to it. Got to support local businesses right?? I was one of their first customers, returned around 6 more times because the meats have good flavor. Cabbage is bland, rice is dry/bland… but dress it up with enough gravy and you’ve got something tasty. The customer service progressively got worse with each visit as additional employees were added. My experience diminished to the point where I was served OLD food and got food poisoning. I hate to even post this because I truly wanted to support this business. As someone that has worked in food service, PLEASE FIGURE OUT YOUR SHELF LIFE. I will not be returning and I couldn’t in good conscience not share my experience.
Food is ok. Just don’t like paying 30 dollars for a large oxtail plate for it to be only 5 big oxtails in the freaking plate. That’ll do it for me for sure !EDIT: Update 6/17 see usually i would above and beyond to prove my point. It’s one thing to pay for something and not get the correct order but its another to insinuate what i paid for was small when it was large. you know your prices if it was $25 then why was i charged $33.64 huh tax ain’t that high now c’mon? Overall i hope your business thrives but give the people what they pay for have a blessed day.

I have to say that this is my very 1st time eating AUTHENTIC Jamaican food & it was too good! I had the Shrimp Rasta Pasta - made fresh to order- (the best pasta I’ve ever had in life) and my mom-in-law had the Curry Goat meal. There were no words exchanged while we were eating. I can’t express enough how much of a great experience we had. The restaurant itself is nice, & SUPER clean. We’ll be back soon! ???
So yeah this was my first time here ever the food is ? very tasty. I have no complaints about it. But I didn’t like how the little girl in the front was talking to me like I’m slow or something wen I was asking questions about the menu, and giving me a disgusted look, like she wanted to swing on me. She needs to meditate or something before she come in cuz that energy is electric and i almost cussed her out. But other then that attitude that veggie Rasta pasta is great and they make it to order.

Regular Brown Stew Chicken & Large Oxtail. It was the 3 plantains for me. ?? the food is worth the prices. You get what you pay for, good portions. So happy to have a good Caribbean restaurant close to East Lake.
I was reading the reviews and kept setting people talking about a young lady with an attitude problem. I wanted Jamaican food so bad, I prayed that she wasn't in there when I went... But she was? lmao she didn't have an attitude, she's actually sweet if they don't have an attitude at the Jamaican spot then I truly feel your food won't be good. Whatever she did to the pasta... DO IT AGAIN
Two things I love about this exceptional restaurant. 1. The warm smile and greeting partnered with the great customer service. 2. The amazing and outstanding taste and quality of the food. I eat here weekly since they have opened and have not had a bad experience yet.
