I had a great meal and was happy they were able to accommodate my large family gathering.They were out of several things and the mac and cheese was not tasty. The sopapillas were great and the wings were really good too. Brunswick stew was very yummy. Potato salad was tasty and the corn waffles and the sausage
Delicious coleslaw and loaded fries! Also the fried street corn was excellent! I bet every thing they have is probably really good.❤️
Had a leisurely dinner with my daughter two nights ago. Service was on point... Got what we needed and were checked on but not excessively. Food was fantastic. Daughter had a pulled pork sandwich open air style with fries. Was expecting vinegar slaw but got something sweet (maybe the agave slaw) but didn't mind. I got the pulled pork platter with fries and cucumber salad. Meat was tender and juicy with lots of flavor. We didn't even use sauce. No fat or gristle at all. Fries were crispy and well seasoned and cucumber salad was awesome. Pickled cucumbers and onions are a nice touch as well. Will definitely be back with the whole family! We have tried every bbq restaurant in the Decatur area and this is our new favorite!
The service was great. Brisket was really good. Pulled pork and ribs were a little dry, but had good flavor. Brunswick stew ?. Fried okra good ? as well. Reasonable pricing.
We sat outdoors and had a great meal...the 4 mini street taco meal was wonderful. All the ingredients on a platter and you make them yourself. Sweet tea was really good too!
Tried for the first time today and everything was great! My boyfriend and I are both vegetarian and there were so many options. We both had the lentil sloppy joe’s and they were delicious! Quick service and reasonable prices as well. We will be back soon!

I cannot express how much my family loves Fords. The kids are always asking to go, they love the queso dip and Kool aid of the day. The brisket is the best in the city, and I love how they always have just the thing to hit the spot, each and every time. I feel at home whenever we come here. Sometimes I’ll stop by and Zach will already know what I want to eat and drink, that’s what makes a restaurant! Service=6/5 stars Food=10/5 stars! Fords BBQ ROCKS!

Our first time here. We wanted so much to like this restaurant. A new addition to Oakhurst. We waited 10+ minutes to be acknowledged. The bartender came over, gave us menus and thanked us for coming and said our server would be with us shortly. Another 8+ minutes later the server appeared. He was very nice. It looked like he was the only server on duty. The beer was nice and cold. We ordered the brisket street tacos and the 2 meat platter with lean brisket and sausage. The brisket on the platter was unfortunately room temperature, quite dry and flavorless unless dipped in the house BBQ sauce, which is very good. The sausage was jalapeño and cheese and was excellent. The tortillas for the street tacos appeared to be stale, as all but one broke in half as my wife picked them up. The fried okra and the Mac & cheese sides were outstanding. Unfortunately our server never checked back in with us. But seeing a table that sat uncleared the whole time we were there, plus the fact the server seemed to be the only one and was really running trying to keep up, they must have been short handed. These are certainly tough times for restaurants and we definitely feel bad for them, but our overall experience this evening discourages us from wanting to come back. Other reviews are 4 and 5 stars so in all fairness we should probably give them another try on a different night and different food orders.
