The experience was real!!! Parking (We done pulled up to Cuz house) The food was good the service was A1. The locals was Amazing!!! People actually gave up seating for one another and saved seat for those that were waiting to be seated as they waited in the car. A place where we all come to unite and eat together DRAMA FREE!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Old fashioned mom and pop diner style spot. Great for breakfast and early lunch. Closes by 1pm. Famous for their breakfast. Plenty of parking. Covington hwy near memorial drive. Library and Walmart within 3 miles.
Over priced breakfast. Hard eggs .I asked for cheese. And there was none. Food was cold, and the grits was salty. The only thing that was good was the biscuits. I also got the fried Talapia...but it was horrible too.
The was my first time visiting and let’s just say first impression and lasting impressions. I walked in to a cashier fuming about another customer “who rubbed her the wrong way & has me messed up”! She went on with this about 2 minutes before acknowledging me then asked if I knew what I wanted. Well excuse me and hello to you to! I told her no to which she asked would I like a menu before I could get out this is my first time there. I received the menu looked it over and ordered the French toast with a side of grits. The food is made fresh to order so it was nice and hot. The rating is due to the service and the quality of food. For the price I expected the French toast to be made with brioche bread but it was regular bread with nothing special to it. There wasn’t even any sign of powdered sugar in sight. I was already in my truck heading home and didn’t feel like going back. I’m not sure if I will give it another try or not.
I got a bacon, egg & chez biscuit to go. The ladies working there seemed very nice but that biscuit was terrible! It was soooo dry that I had to just chuck it. The taste of it seemed like it might have been decent so I may go back one just to see if it was a fluke.
I have been to this restaurant 4 times. I was treated rudely by two waiters that are white. I don’t feel welcome. I honestly felt like it’s my race. I will not be returning again. For the other workers there thank you for having good customer.
I've lived in Atlanta Ga for many years. And never ate here. My first time here. Employees are nice bubbly attitude smiles from the grill to the register. A family home restaurant. The Breakfast like Momma's I love it . I hated I waited so long to eat here..
I had the grilled fish and grits for breakfast and my boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy. Both dishes were really good! Especially the grits, which were the best I’ve ever had. Glad we checked this place out!
This place is the best breakfast place on earth . I’m born and raised Atlantian and this place is a gem in Decatur. You’ll never go to Waffle House or ihop again . Give your taste buds some class . Thank me later .
First timer, felt like I was in a very small town because, everybody knew everybody in here ? loved that! That says a lot about a place/community. My breakfast was dee-licious. They'll know my name in due time!
