I’ve lived in Decatur 10 years but this was my first time visiting this Chipotle because there are so many delicious local restaurants nearby. This will also be my last time visiting. We visited at 5pm on a Wednesday and waited in line 20 minutes. It didn’t move for the first 10. Then when we got to the front there were no black beans, no grilled vegetables, no guacamole and just the last dribbles of chicken. It was the saddest, most disappointing Chipotle bowl I’ve ever had that I still had to pay full price for even though they didn’t half the things I wanted to put on it. Never again.
This Chipotle is HORRIBLE!!!!!! I drive for the local transit authority and it’s located at the end of the line. They are either always out of a staple ingredient, or closing their doors due to short staff (which I kinda understand because of Covid) but sometimes it just feels like an excuse! The employees have thee WORST attitudes!! I’ve placed orders via the app before only to arrive to them telling me they don’t have it, and there’s nothing they can do about either honoring what I’ve paid for (by looking at the recipe I have on my phone), or at least acknowledging that it may be an error!! The girl Rosalyn who works there who says she’s the store manager acts as though she doesn’t want to be there as her attitude is completely deplorable!!! I’m actually surprised this one is still in business honestly!8 out or 10 definitely don’t recommend!!
Ordered online and discovered that it would be best to just stand in line. My online order was ready 25 min after the order was due. I watched people come in, place their order get their food and leave. Learned my lesson. Definitely will not be going back to this location as this is the third time this has happened here. I recommend just going in and avoid ordering online.
I read the reviews and still wanted to check it out for myself. And the reviews are pretty much a really good description of what to expect at this location. Employees weren’t bad.. they weren’t good either. I would’ve rated at least three stars, but the fact that the floor was littered with napkins, ice, straws, plastic cutlery, etc. is why it resulted in the two-star rating. This isn’t my first time at this location and I can professionally say it has declined in “achieving customer satisfaction.”Whomever this.. you’ve been warned; experience at your own risk.
Had my daughter pick me up a salad. They had no corn salsa, no sour cream, had to find black beans and still didn’t add them. They had no cheese dip or guacamole and chips. This salad cost ten dollars they could have at least filled it with lettuce. I asked for a first responder discount because they had no food prepared. They had the food and was set to close in 2 hours and still said no. That’s fine but at least give me a whole salad with what was left and they didn’t even do that now this has to last 12 hours. I will never go back there.:(
If I could rate this zero stars I would. First off it’s poor service. The employees act like they don’t wanna work. Everyone is moving slow as if I wanna be here all day, I’m sorry I came here to eat. It’s always dirty when I come to this location the vinaigrette is always missing the honey. Chipotle is trash now.
I’ve been to this Chipotle at least 7 times and literally only once have they had all of the standard items. Frequently out of and/or choose not to make more of fajita vegetables, guacamole, and at least one of the proteins. I’m sure that’s not an exhaustive list. Tonight I asked for fajita vegetables and guacamole, to which I was told they don’t make anymore for the rest of the night, and they “normally run out at 4pm”. Seems kinda ridiculous you wouldn’t make more of an ingredient that is regularly requested when the store doesn’t close until 10pm. I ordered around 7:30 pm and was willing to wait for them to prepare it. Normally, I wouldn’t care to much, but this is the case here 95% of the time. Today will be the last time I visit this location. Spare yourself and go elsewhere.
The WORST Chipotle ever!!! The customer before me asked for her sour cream to be put on the side and was told it would be $1. The same customer then asked for extra fajitas and corn and was told that would be $1 for each. So I was already aware of the foolishness and prepared. My portion size was extremely little as well but I knew not to ask for extra or not even extra but standard- what I was paying for. If the portion size was even close to decent chances are she wouldn’t have asked for extra. They are giving a teaspoon of corn and guacamole but a whole cup of hot and sour cream. When did Chipotle start charging for more corn?!? Lord bless them and please send them some help. This is terrible you have to laugh to keep from getting pissed??
Hands down the worst Chipotle I've even been to. It tasted so bland ! Nothing I added helped. The salad dressing usually could save the day but even that has no flavor. She also charged me for a side of sour cream! When did they start that up? But I'll say that the location was clean ._.
I love Chipotle but this location has had issues with staffing for awhile now. The few workers that are there are under a lot of pressure and the result is longer wait times and sometimes lower quality food. I ordered the plant based chorizo bowl through delivery yesterday - you can't pick which store to deliver from via the app and unfortunately I had to get food from this location.- The white rice was very sticky and not well cooked- The vegan chorizo was overly spicy (I like spicy food but this was unbearably HOT, I couldn't manage to eat it)- The store ran out of fajitas and tomato salsa at 4pm (not even peak dinner time)!I would advise going to a different location if you can or at the very least order your food really early before they run out of ingredients or before orders start to get backed up.
