Yesterday, after a long day... the icing on my cake was fried chicken with rice and peas from Chef Tony's. The spices were just right. This is the type of food that makes you dance after taking a bite.
Listen..dont read another review..just go get your food....its a true "hole in the wall" but it's the most delicious steamed fish in the area..Maybe in all of Georgia. It's the most delicious steam fish I've EVER had (I eat fish weekly). The only thing I would add next time is some steamed bammy or crackers to soak up the rich golden sauce.The fish is made to order so while we waited we had some Manish water (goat soup) just perfection. Or you can also call ahead.The fried chicken was delicious and well seasoned as well but it was sitting in a warmer so not very crunchy so not the best for me.I honestly have never been so satisfied with the taste of a meal in a very long time. I am SATISFIED.Now don't ask me about the appearance...or the location...its on the side of a run down gas station and the sign sucks and is very hard to read...but once you see the seafood place..it next door.... THIS IS A FOOD/TASTE REVIEW ONLY!!!
It breaks my heart to put two stars under this restaurant the first time I tried their fried chicken two years ago it was the best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life the brining process was perfect the crust of the chicken was perfect however …yesterday spent $35 on fried chicken and I was very disappointed I don’t know if Tony doesn’t prep or cook the fried chicken anymore or he has new chefs but it was very disappointing… some of my chicken was dried out and lacking flavor. I hope on my next visit I will get the fried chicken I’m accustomed to getting from Tonys.

Chef Tony was supposed to cater chicken (which was the main dish) for my son’s bday party. We had prearranged a week prior that he would deliver it to us. He did not show up at the stated time and wouldn’t answer his phone. An hr after expected delivery time I finally got a hold of him. He made up an accuse, said he was trying to cater another event as well and said he would try to get the chicken to us. He never called back!!! We quickly had to order pizzas and make due?Unreliable and unprofessional.
