Decatur, GA. I hate to do this but one of the worst service experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. We placed an online order and hour before requested pick up. Arrived. No food ready. Waited. Finally got in line to talk to someone. Waited. Staff did not address anyone and seemed to wander around. Waited 25 min past pick up time and finally got to talk to someone. They had not even printed the sticker receipt. I had to leave because wife and baby were in the car and we only get so much time before tears come from sitting still. Mentioned I would like to cancel my order and they jumped on that. Staff member just looked up and said “they refunded your money”. We are local but it will be a very long time if ever again we return. Now just fingers crossed the refund actually the order.
I love love love the CAVA Decatur location! Ms Tee and her team are AWESOME! The staff is always friendly and polite. When I ask for my hot food and cold food in separate containers, it’s never an issue. The food is always fresh and the it makes for great leftovers!
Dinner crowd was good. Server David extremely pleasant...was my first time....service was very good...got mini pita with the works n rice...cashier gave free chips and water cup....excellent. I will go back and try the grill chicken with the works...tzazki sauce on point!
My first time at Cava and I enjoyed it. A casual "build a bowl" type place with a kid friendly setting and LOTS of choices and ways to customize your bowl. Really great if you are watching calories or have dietary restrictions because you can literally put whatever you want on the bowl.
Absolutely loved the food and the service was great! Thank you Tamika for encouraging me to try the food and the bowl you made for me, was amazing. I am definitely going back!
I was told inaccurate information by employees on Gluten free options. Next 2 days I was sick. Plus when I asked given 3 different answers on pricing. I do not recommend restaurant. I called left message to speak with manager no return call. I waited 24 hrs called again. Told she was too busy to give me her full attention on phone. This restaurant does not take allergies seriously!!!!
I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken and was really looking forward to it. Right off the bat I could see they forgot to include dressing. I tried to eat it without dressing and I don't know what meat they served me but I seriously doubt it was even chicken. It was dark, rubbery and tasted revolting. The tomatoes were overripe and the lettuce was dry. Only one olive for the whole GREEK salad. Worst salad I've ever had - I couldn't eat it and threw it in the trash. Worst excuse for a restaurant I've ever had the displeasure of patronizing. I'm going on yelp to leave a bad review too. That's how repugnant their "salad" is.
I love CAVA but this location is hit or missed. My order today had super hard crunchy lentils which made up a good portion of the bowl. This is not the first time this has happened. It literally feels like I’m chewing on rocks, so disappointed.
VERY expensive for what you get. This 'side' of hummus was $2.90. Barely 2 tablespoons of very average hummus. The pita chips included 5 chips for $2. I will not be back or recommend it to others. If you want falafel, better to go to Ameer's or Mediterranean Grill.
I was with friends and this is where they decided. It was the first time I ate at CAVA. I was skeptical. I reluctantly built my bowl not expecting much.After a wonderful time visiting and chatting with friends, my bowl was clean! I ate everything! It was unexpectedly delicious. I'm now looking for a CAVA in my hometown.The food was delicious. The service was friendly. The restaurant was clean. What more do you need?
