So I've lived in Decatur all my life and have passed this place many times. My girlfriend and I finally decide to try this place out for bruch. The first mess up was the hostess acknowledging the bottomless mimosas being good for 2 people, but then the waitress brings one champagne glass and says it's for one person only. She was nice enough to bring a second glass as long as we kept it under wraps. Cool. So then we both order lamb and eggs at $18 a plate..my girlfriend wanted her lamb medium well, eggs fried hard. I ordered my lamb medium rare, soft scrambled eggs. First, both meals were completely cold, her eggs were runny, my eggs were hard scrambled, and then the lamb.wow. we didn't even check the cook temps because they literally gave us 6 beef jerky looking nuggets of lamb! Not for $18! There are too many $$ priced restaurants that provide a better value. It just wasn't it. If you want good drinks and deals on wine, they've got it, but the food, no way José.
Great little find in Downtown Decatur. The food was flavorful and all around delicious. Our waitress recommended most of our dishes and she was spot on. If you don’t try anything else the tiramisu is a MUST!
We stopped in tonight for drinks and appetizers. We were seated immediately and felt very comfortable. Cory was our waiter and all I can say is that he was fabulous. He gave us suggestions and was attentive but not bothersome. What a great personality!! Cafe Lily is fortunate to have him.

One of our favorite restaurants in Decatur; it been more than a few years since our last visit. But the same wonderful service, food and experience. With their easy reservation system we booked in early for a Friday night. Absolutely a great dining experience! Our server Chad had excellent recommendations and was professional, friendly and added to the evening. Eggplant, shrimp, mussels and fries; wonderful flavor, presentation. Perfect for sharing. The kitchen does not disappoint; still great The bar, the bar goddess, providing new cocktails that were outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful experience
I have only been here a handful of times over the years but have always been exceptionally pleased. It is a great restaurant for special occasions or for an evening out with a small group. There are options on the menu that are affordable for regular evenings as well as over-the-top entrees for a real treat. Before Covid, I felt crowded when I dined at Cafe Lily but now the tables are spaced more.
Selected Cafe Lily spontaneously for dinner after checking the menu on line. We were treated with the utmost care from the time we arrived! Host opened the door with a warm greeting. Quickly seated and provided water. Within a couple of minutes our charismatic and totally knowledgeable server, Corey, came to table all smiles. Our experience was one to remember. Great descriptions of dishes led to a delicious and satisfying variety being selected. The relaxing atmosphere, good wine list and yummy dessert topped the evening off. An absolute A+! We shall return
Quite frankly the best restaurant in town! The staff is so professional and knowledgeable. It is fine dining treatment in a casual and homie environment that keeps me coming back. It is my go to spot to take friends and family when they are in town. Not to mention my all time favorite dessert is made here, the lemon custard sponge cake is to die for!! You will not be disappointed visiting Cafe Lily!

It’s everything you want in a restaurant .personal , professional staff , amazing weekly specials and excellent craft cocktails. They have a specialty Zinfandel selection that is unparalleled anywhere in the city.
