The spicy oxtail dinner is da bomb! Ive never had spicy oxtails before and they had just the right heat. If you like it spicy they have the rt blend of peppers. 2nd visit in a month... my large dinner plate was only 30.00.
I got the beef stew small plate. ??? loved it, the beef patty is hot and fresh. Waited around 20 mins for my food to be prepared worth the wait.
A little pricey for the quality of food and service. Ordered Curry Goat Large $17 beef patty and one Ginger Beer +$22. Plate was loaded with tender meat. Overcooked cabbage and carrots. Rice was regular, no coconut milk or scotch bonnet. Only 1 slice plantain??? The girl taking our order was cool and didn't thank us for our business.
The Customer Service was atrocious on Sunday! We ordered two plates online. Arrived to pick up plates and we were greeted with an attitude. Explained that the card holder was on the way to the restaurant. The attitude of the worker was so bad that we wanted a refund. The food was not taken from the restaurant.
Ordered first time, through Postmates.I enjoyed my food,and there was plenty of food.I dont understand why such bad reviewson the food.I ordered the large jerk with rice,also side of macaroni. ordered my daughter the small jerk plate.. She enjoyed the rice &macaroni , Their jerk was too spicy for her liking,but I enjoyed it..Only thing I wasnt a fan of truly was the cabbage fully,but it wasnt a deal breaker for me..Packaging was good as well..
Ordered Jerk Chicken ????Where does brown gravy come in ? Had to pay extra for jerk sauce.Owner tried to say it states brown gravy and then couldn't show me . Very un please .
I order from this place every Friday for my mom who LOVES their food. Today I decided to stop in and order in personafter learning that the doordash app does not allow for two sides with the meal. I walked into the restaurant at 12:15 (they open at noon) and a young lady was walking in before me. She went to the back and started to set up the registers. I stood looking at the menu trying to decide what I'd order. She seemed disgruntled and proceeded to tell me "SORRY can you wait outside while I get myself TOGETHER? " I was stunned... It took me a moment to accept that this lady who apparently is late to work is speaking to me in such an unfriendly manner. Why do I have to wait outside in the cold because you are in a bad mood and late for work?There's plenty of space in this establishment and even seats for me to sit while you get yourself together for WORK. The owner wasn't very helpful addressing it so I left. Rude and unpleasant attitudes are unacceptable for me.
Jerk rib tips were tough and chewy. Jerk chicken tacos were delicious as well as the curry goat and ox tails. The rice could have cooked a little more.
I ordered the Jerk rib tips w/ fries. I was very surprised at the taste and the quantity. The plate was so full of rib tips. I'm saving the rest for lunch tomorrow. After being disappointed from eating at the other Caribbean restaurants in this area...I finally found one I think I'm going to stick with. I could do without the fries though. They should just have the rib tips and jerk chicken by itself as another option for the customers that really don't care for sides or the extras. Other than that...I will be back.
The food was not good at all! No salt on anything! The salmon had no seasoning and the oxtails looked and tasted like pot roast. Definitely using the cheapest source for both! The only decent thing on the plate was the plantain. I would not recommend this spot. There are so many other flavorful restaurants around.
