Had the oxtails, rice & peas, cabbage, and plantains...food was delicious, portion size was plentiful, flavor on point and the meat was tender. Cashier attitude???? just ok!
Was very disappointed. They had no white meat chicken so I tried the jerk pork and the photo tells it all. Threw plate away and drove to Caribbean spot on memorial dr.
My husband and I drove almost 45 min to try the food and the lady upfront was not friendly or welcoming at all. We seemed like a bother to her. Overall the place is a waste of time and money!! The jerk ribs and chicken were over smoked and hard.. without any flavor. Jerk traditionally is made on a grill not in the smoker. The sauce was bitter and the rice and cabbage had no flavor whatsoever. I also ordered a “homemade” pineapple ginger drink and it tasted like flavored syrup!! Please don’t advertise yourselves as a Jamaican restaurant when you are far from it. Highly disappointed
I've eaten here before and it was really good but I went last week for my husband and I and the favor of the food has changed and the rice and peas were so dry I almost choked. The cabbage had no flavor at all. I was highly disappointed.
So good! We got the lunch curry chicken and the stewed pork. Most delicious meal I've had in a long time. Go there.
Stopped by for first time to buy some juices for my coworker and get a bite to eat. Didn't make it past the juices. If you want the community to patronize you, get rid of the crabapple at the counter. You gets no paper from me!
First time there off of a referral for the jerk ribs and this is what I got. The ribs were dry and hard. Rice and peas too salty. The cabbage and plantains was the only thing edible and they offer no exchanges or refunds. If that's the case, let me see my food before I pay. That's my hard earned money too. Will be disputing payment.
The absolute worst jerk chicken I've ever had. Very dry, and no flavor. I had to wait 15 minutes we're just jerk chicken. Stood there and watched people who came after me get served. And the woman who works the register at the front has a terrible attitude. And it makes no sense to have a cash price and a card price be different. I will never go here again. I should have gone to my regular spot Red Hills Jerk Center.
Bad customer service especially when the guy who supposed to be the so-called manager is there every time I go there he has an attitude y’all need to get rid of him find a new manager because the food is good the service is good everything except him he wants to argue about jerk sauce that I asked for when I ordered spent $20 he needs Jesus bad spirits in him
I really miss the lady that used to work here (or own this place) I moved away for a few years and recently moved back. She worked every day and her daughters worked in the back. NOW the front and back workers are RUDE, ungrateful for support of their business and disrespectful. I ate here for years supporting the lady that used to work there because she had bags under her eyes from working so much but she was ALWAYS kind...I will no longer dine here and instead go down the street to Liz International Roti House. I have also dined there since they opened and they have ALWAYS been kind, positive and appreciative of business. You can NOT prepare food with an evil heart. I will NOT consume food by those who I know have a negative spirit. -Be blessed
