Recently visited and restaurant looks CLOSED. I attempted several times and contacted them in hopes of someone answering. I guess they have gone out of business and haven’t updated information. Don’t waste your time driving here! I’ll have to find a new Jamaican spot as it seems every since Covid this spot declined
I used to wouldn't go anywhere else but here for my Jamaican food but over the past year they have declined in many areas. My orders have less food in them but with higher price I have recently found another location closer to my home with a lesser price more food and taste great. I wish this business the best but it's not for me anymore.
Out of nostalgia giving 3 stars should be 2ish. Oxtails were super sweet, thin and fatty. Rice mushy. So much gravy it was all over vegetables. $25 bucks? I'm good.
Thus place used to be amazing. I'm not sure what happened but the food is no where near like it used to be. To catch them open is hit or miss. I've driven to this place many of times and it was closed. Try at your own risk
This was my first time eating Jamaican food and I must say the Oxtail was delicious and worth every penny! Thank you chef ??
Not gonna lie, the building is in bad shape, looks like a car hit it or something. But I'm not in it for the ambiance, I'm in it for the food. And the food is great! Best jerk chicken I've had in this town, not to mention the rice and beans. Generous portions and a very nice owner to boot.
Always hot, fresh, and delicious. You have to wait a bit because it isn’t fast food, but that’s what makes it good.
They would have a 5 star rating if they answered the phone and had better service over all. They have regard for customers. They give you the full ride Jamaican restaurant stigma! At some point no food is worth the horrible service. And the owner can’t be there everyday she’s wonderful
Did this place burn down or something? I just came by because as usual, NO ONE answers the phone it just rings and rings. If this placed burned down, it would behoove them to actually have a vmail letting their customers know, or how about a WEBSITE for one! The black black owned businesses don’t know how to be the best business owners and that’s not good in this economy. I wish they would get some help, this place can definitely be THAT spot, but it’s like they either don’t care because people will still come or they’re just tired. If that’s the case, pass the darn torch!
I been coming here since they first opened, overall great food! Never disappoint, but the bathroom needs to be remodeled.
