We normally frequent the Thorton Avenue location, but decided to order from this location because we were on that side of town.The service was fast and friendly and the food was very good!!
When traveling I’m always on the lookout for the best local food options. Gondolier Pizza had a lot of good recommendations so I decided to give it a shot one evening when I had a craving for a few slices. I was exhausted from a long work day so I placed an order online for delivery to my hotel. For this reason I can’t speak to the atmosphere of the restaurant, service etc. but what I can attest to is the quality of the pizza, which was made up of fresh, flavorful ingredients atop a chewy (in a good way) crust that was not thin and floppy like a traditional New York-style slice and not quite as thick as what a national chain would call ‘hand tossed’, but somewhere in between. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and are looking for an alternative to the boring, generic chain options that you can get anywhere (plus, supporting local businesses is always a good thing). The only caveat I would mention is that, at least on the delivery menu, all of the pizzas were ‘buy one, get one’ so, while the prices seemed high at first glance, you do get two pizzas so that brings it down to a much more reasonable level. I didn’t see a way to order just a single pizza, though. Luckily, I had the following day off so my lunch was covered. I would’ve had to get creative otherwise as the pizza box was slightly too large to fit into the hotel room refrigerator (which was itself larger than the small dorm-style cube fridges you see in most hotel rooms). I have no idea if purchasing a single pie is an option for dine-in customers so you may want to plan for that. Overall, though, I would recommend the pizza here without hesitation.
Found this place a couple of years ago and when we stop in Dalton, GA this is the place to go. Yummy pizza
One of two locations in town. Always friendly and the food is good. Nothing spectacular but a solid choice. Large variety and even a rewards program.
This place has horrible staff. rude people. the only good person there is the cook don chuey! He is the best cook I have ever met and is such a great person ! But apart from him everyone is terrible. This place is amazing but the staff is horrible especially SOMONE that answered the phone for me named Andre
Awesome place! Great food (Bread is the best). People were top notch. I highly recommend
I eat here all the time but today I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak , three of them to be exact they were good as usual but the French fries were hard as rocks, I called to tell them about it , and they told me the fries were fine when I picked my order up, so I will not eat there again the manager needs to remember the customer is always right and at least try to resolve the problem but instead be me off

Last few times I've ate at this location seems the flavor of food isn't that great and yet prices of it all especially desserts have gone thru the roof! $8+ for a piece of cake is just CRAZY! Been better Gondoliers very disappointed
It's pretty good food. Service is pretty good too. It's a bit much in price, my opinion, but it's good. Bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly.
