Today is a complete disappointment! We frequent the restaurant, and we’ve NEVER had such a horrible experience. We expect delays with wait staff shortages, but this was simply poorly trained employees! We were seated by a hostess on her cellphone, and lets just say how terribly unprofessional that is. We sat for over 15 minutes hoping one of the multiple employees who kept walking past would simply acknowledge our presence. No one even bothered to say, “we’re sorry for your wait, someone will be with you soon!” Nope! Nothing! And to make matter more frustrating, she cellphone toting hostess seated a mother and son who immediately received service. Such a disappointment! Management should better train their employees, and wait staff trips typically depend on courtesy, timeliness, and simply serving food to the customers who came well to get food.

Service and food were both excellent. I think some people may not agree with the hostess that the whole party needs to be present to be seated, but I understand the need not to hold up tables and it is after all a posted policy. My son enjoyed watching the cook who was very friendly and entertaining.

The food was definitely 5 worthy, however the waitress was less than professional and rude. The hibachi chef was great. Had to go to front and ask for drinks and had to go back to front for check and to go never refills on drinks.I will but it would help if the quality of servers improves.

Staff is absolutely unprofessional. Hostess station is ran by children with horrible attitudes, manager is a child herself who doesn’t really know how to handle her rude staff. Manager reluctantly told me the host was named Lauren, (not sure if that is even true ,blonde curly hair. ) She has an absolutely awful attitude. I do understand that it’s a hard job working with the public but we did absolutely nothing but come in and ask for a table. After rudely telling us to sit down, she actually picked a fight and argued with us. I have never been treated so rudely by restaurant staff just by simply walking in and kindly asking for a table. We have come to this place for years and I never could quite understand why their rating is so low (3.9) but as of lately I am coming to understand. Multiple reviews of rude staff members and it shows. What is astonishing is that the owners seem to not care. Most of your reviews are about your rude staff, it’s obviously a very common issue yet you do nothing to address it. Are places that understaffed that they settle for rude and unprofessional employees?

The food was good, just not what I ordered. The sushi came out after I got the check....

I went for lunch with my two children. The music they were playing was vulgar and completely inappropriate for casual dining and children. The hostess was vaping and dancing to the music behind the bar counter. It felt like a club atmosphere instead of a fsmily restaurant, and I did not appreciate it! I did complain and they changed it, but laughed about it. That was the worst dining experience I have ever had.

Will not be going back here. After a 30 minute wait which I had no problem with, we were seated and waited 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. I ordered filet mignon and chicken, the filet was supposed to be medium but when I got my food I am pretty sure it wasn't filet mignon and it was very over cooked. My mother who we had taken there fir her birthday ordered steak and chicken with no vegetables extra rice, her plate had the vegetables but after the amount of time we had waited she did not have the waitress fix it. The service did not deserve a big tip, but this place automatically charges you a tip. I don't mind tipping and am usually very generous but only when it is deserved I do not like being forced to leave gratuity, it should be for me to decide. I do not recommend this place.

They close down earlier than they are meant to. Either the posted time needs to be altered or the routine needs to be changed so they actually are open and serving the hours they are meant to. If the posted time is altered that also means the routine can't change to be the same issue afterwards. With the lukewarm amount of care I got from the lady behind the podium I feel that could issue could definitely happen. Other food service places made changes during hard times, so know it can be done.

I stopped in here Friday night to have dinner. It had been a long week, a long day & I didn’t want to cook. The hostess informed me there was a 1 hour wait & got my info. I asked to sit at the bar/sushi bar for a drink & an appetizer. She bluntly informed me the bar was closed. She snapped at me that they were short on staff. My entire experience with her insures I will never dine there again. While I waited, I was told by some locals that the bar/sushi bar hasn’t been open since before COVID. When we were seated, it took abut 20 minutes for me to get a beverage. When the chef arrived at the hibachi grill, it was off. Another chef jumped in to help him light it. Obviously, their equipment is faulty. I felt a twinge of anxiety that I was sitting within 1 foot of a gas grill that was malfunctioning. Halfway through cooking our meal, the grill went off again. The chef had to turn his back on us and cook our dinner on the grill behind us.As for the food, the chef was wonderful. The food he cooked was very good. However, my Nigiri was not very fresh & the Salmon Roe was inedible. The ginger tasted musty & old.All in all, a bad experience. I will not ever dine here again.

This place has good sushi by my standards. My wife and I went here for dinner. We order d two sushi roles and chicken teriyaki. All of the food was good. We are in the dining room so didn't get hibachi but it also looked good.
