The spot to go for great food, upbeat atmosphere, and tasty drinks. They cater to you. Los Portales had my favorite Tequila and it's called Mezcal!! Omar, the owner's son, made a fresh ingredient margarita and it was amazing!! It was so good, I ordered two! Gotta come and try this place!
My family and I had a wonderful time Saturday night May 7, 2022. The food was great and the staff was very efficient and responsive. We were also treated to a Karaoke performance by the owner, See the attached!
I have known Gonzalo and frequented Los Portales for more than 25 years. I read complaints about food and service with surprise. There have been times when service was a little slow but the food was always good. We always enjoy going to the restaurant and have our faves.

The food was not bad but they are cheating people by charging more than the menu says. The last time they will have to cheat me and my family. And I wondered why there was nobody else in the restaurant.
Consistently good food, even when having to get takeout. Cannot recommend this place enough. If you sit inside, the service is great and their margaritas are the perfect choice to compliment the delicious meal.

Got take out. Small portion, cold and over priced. To say the food was average for Mexican food would be kind. Won't go again, will drivee to El Nopal or La Parilla.
