Update #2:It has now been 2 weeks since Captain D's gave us this nasty food and I have yet to receive any correspondence from anyone. Captain D's, if you are ok with serving paying customers trash food then you just need to go ahead and shut down. I dont have a habit of paying for food that isnt edible. Just know if you eat at this establishment you may receive inferior food.Update:Was contacted by a reply to my 1 star review the following day asking me to contact them at an email address leaving them my info and what happened. I guess Captain D's is ok with serving nasty food because I never heard another word from them. I will NOT spend another penny in this location. I dont have a habit of spending money on food that I cant eat.Was really wanting fish tonight but Im not sure what I got. The fish didnt have its normal batter on it, it was battered in what looked like cornmeal. The fish looked funny, it looked like minced fish not the flaky fish that we normally get. It tasted awful and it was extremely dry. I got a 4pc meal and my husband got the 3pc meal and neither of us ate all of it. $22.97 down the drain with thrown away food. Just have to think that they ran out of their regular batter and substituted the cornmeal batter which was hard and awful. Well, I guess I will be looking for somewhere else to get my fish because I will not be back if this is the kind of food they will be serving. Even the vinegar couldnt save this mess!!!
My brother absolutely loves Captain D’s.. if you could send him some merchandise it would make his entire world..
I first wanted to say that I don't have any criticism of this restaurant or its employees. The service was excellent and the people are very friendly and efficient. And most of the food was good. However, what kind of varmint are they using for their battered fish? I last ate at a Captain D's over a year ago (on Austell Road), and the fish was terrible. So when I was in Dallas earlier today, I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit. The substance that they are trying to pass off as fish only vaguely resembles fish due to the fried batter, the white color of the meat (is it rat?), and the fact that I smothered each bite in tartar sauce - By the way, the tartar sauce was pretty good. It is getting harder these days to find decent fish in any fast food establishment, and I am afraid that I have to rule out Captain D's for any future meals.
Big street sign reads “Dining Room Open”.Paper sign on door read “Carry Out Only”.Not wanting to eat in the truck we went to Chick Fil A.I understand being short handed. The big street sign should read “Dining Room Maybe Open”, until full staffing is accomplished.
I only went to drive thru! But food was slightly over cooked so im giving them a 4 because it was still really good!!!!
The batter was not the same!! I would Not eat there again!!
This location has improved so much. The staff is very attentive. The quality of the food, the taste of the food has been excellent. Keep up the great work and service. I'll keep coming back!

They have decreased the size of their fish but still charge the same price. I ordered a two piece fish and shrimp. When I got home there was only two pieces of fish inside the container. It was too far for me to drive back. I was very angry!! Check your order!
