This place was a trial just cauz of all the hype about it .We went here for dinner and the look n feel was nice . Good music with dim lights and the candles on table were just too cute .We ordered a chicken sandwich , salmon entree with squash casserole .. the main dishes were alright and not worth all the hype but their squash casserole was delicious .At the end I don’t think I would want to go back to eat a poorly cooked fish entree for $26 which I thought was crazy pricing .Overcooking salmon takes away a whole lot from a dish .
Well came here expecting at least a decent birthday dinner for my wife. Well that didn’t happen! First my daughters salad had a hair in it. My silverware was dirty. 2 sets of steamed veggies and 1 set of snow peas came out soggy and very cold. Fries were either over cooked and full of grease or way under cooked and still cold in the middle. Then my fixed entree came out with shrimp first then a wait and then my cold peas came. All things considered a very poor dinner. Waitress was decent but was very shy as it seemed to have been a snowball of bad luck for her. I called before hand to make the reservation and told them it was wife’s birthday I was told they would give her a birthday dessert and cancel well that didn’t happen either. Gave it try and the place failed miserably, We Won’t Be Back.
Came to the Ridge as a function of my 1st anniversary hotel package. First, my wife and I love live music and the restaurant didn’t disappoint. Our waiter, Julian, was absolutely awesome. Very attentive! The food was great and the prices were even better! Highly recommend if you’re in the area on a Friday or Saturday night.
Golden corral quality steak. Absolutely average in every way. The steak was old. Was raw but was brown rather than red which indicates it's old. No flavor. Overpriced. Good service. Good environment
Wonderful restaurant! The owner introduced himself and was extremely gracious. Reminds me of the times when I would go with my parents to a nice restaurant as a kid, and the owner would come around to every table. He either knew everyone at the table, or he was introducing himself. We will definitely be going back!
My husband booked us a getaway for our anniversary & we came here for dinner. The ambiance was amazing! Customer service was A1! The food was impeccable. Everything tasted sooo good and was cooked to perfection. I had the surf & turfas my entree. Maaaaan listen, my steak was juicy and so tender!! My husband had the seafood platter which was amazing. Portions were definitely a nice size. We were so full we couldn’t eat our cheesecake for dessert but took it with us, of course it just melted in your mouth and was so yummy. We went on a Friday so they had live music and it was soooo nice! The chef came out and delivered our food. Our server was such a sweetheart despite it being busy! There was no excruciating wait time. We did call and make a reservation two nights in advance. Honestly when we come back, this is the spot to come to. I honestly cannot rave at how amazing this place is. We had a booth and it was so intimate. Allowed myself and my husband to truly bask in each other’s company with a candlelit dinner.Thank you so much staff for your hospitality and the delicious food! We will be back!
Very disappointed!! Mash potatoes tasted sour milk and looks old. My husband’s steak was fair but not what should have been. First off was undercooked second it was supposed to be steak au poivre and not pepper at all on it. Very expensive for that kind of food. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED
Yeah it's had several names and for the most part it's the same owner I think but you know it's older than a brontosaurus Burger been there since before Adam but it's still probably my single favorite place to eat north of 285. It's just darn good food and they've tried very hard to make it a value proposition you don't feel like you're paying for exploratory surgery in a third world country is so expensive. During the week happy hour or whatever it's called for like five to seven where you can get a stake of potato something to drink and out the door it's under 20 bucks there's no deal like that or anywhere around and price is probably going up but that's my memory.
Nice room. Calamari was fantastic, caeser salad and baked potato done nicely. Steak was perfectly cooked. Quality of the meat was only OK, I think every restaurant is suffering that right now. Service is not skilled, but it is friendly which is not unusual here. Wine list is super reasonable. Don't go to a chain if you can get a seat here.
An extremely consistent and well run restaurant. We have a favorite waitress "Danny" who takes "very" good care of us. We are also members of the Atlanta Athletic Club and actually enjoy the food, atmosphere and entertainment at the Ridge better than our highly touted country club; of course there is no golf course at the ridge, but the drinks, entertainment, seafood and steaks are great. The chefs are very good!
