This is definitely one of my favorite places to visit near my neighborhood. I enjoy visiting often with friends❣. The space has an AMAZING VIBE that makes you feel like you are in Buckhead. The food is delicious and the drinks are great! The prices are very reasonable and the menu has a nice selection to choose from. The Owner/Hostess is a beautiful lady on the inside and out and she is very friendly and welcoming to all. She really cares about the patrons and treats everyone well. The servers are very efficient and you don't have to wait long to be served. The bar is well stocked and has a great selection of wines. I recommend this place for a gathering, family dinner or for a romantic date. You will be very happy you visited❣
I drove by this restaurant many times but never had the thought of stopping by until it was personally recommended to me and it did not disappoint.I ate here for lunch and the variety of choices were great. I had the Pastrami Ruben and it was the best I've ever had. My friends had salmon, chicken sandwich and shrimp dishes which also did not disappoint. For someone like me, I can handle a big meal, but I did struggle a little to finish my sandwich as it was flavorful and mouthwatering.Tam's Tupelo is well worth the drive!
I wasn't expecting much from the outward appearance and "hole in the wall" vibe the corner strip mall spot holds, but I was thoroughly impressed! The interior decor looks very nice, service was prompt and friendly, and the food (we went for brunch) was excellent! The menu was small, yet diverse without being obnoxious. Portion sizes and prices were fair. My only minor complaint is the "cheesy potatoes" side dish is more akin to cheesy onions, but that's my own preference and nothing to knock the establishment over. Our server Chase went above and beyond and we will definitely be back soon!
My son recommended this place to us and we met for Sunday brunch after a 2 hour drive from Franklin, NC. All in all the meal was disappointing. I ordered a small house salad with tomatoes, cheese and ranch dressing, the salad came out with no tomatoes so the waiter went back and brought me my tomatoes, the ranch dressing was so peppery that you could not taste the ranch in it. My main course was the pulled chicken and broccoli, the chicken had no taste to it and tasted like it had been cooked in a oven with very little seasoning and had 4 pieces of bone in it, one which pierced the top of my mouth, another piece was over a inch long, the barbecue sauce was way too peppery to be any good to me, the broccoli was the only good thing of my whole meal. The waiter was kind and courteous and tried to be helpful in any way. I personally will not be going back and would highly recommend to anyone trying this place to watch out for bones if you order the pulled chicken.
Amazing food atmosphere and service
A great spot for brunch! Build your own bloody menu or a bottle of Prosecco for $15 with free juice for your mimosas, whaaaat!? Score! All of the food was amazing, including the fried green tomatoes. If you're considering this place, you should go!
The biscuit they come out with are the bomb. It was crispy, flaky, warm and buttery. Made with sweet potato and drizzled with honey and maybe some butter. My lobster cake Benedict was a bit disappointing. The poached egg was slightly overcooked, so it didn't run over the cake or muffin. The lobster cake was ok. The chipotle hollandaise was tasty. The cheesy were outstanding.3 egg omelette and Cobb salad were good as well.
Tam’s is a typical neighborhood restaurant. The atmosphere was friendly, service was good, and the food was average — for a neighborhood joint. We had shrimp-n-grits, crawfish etouffee, shrimp scampi, and salmon. The flavors were “muted”. From my perspective, after having read Tam’s reviews, they’re inflated for the appropriately priced foods. There were two minor things off that evening I thought about not mentioning here. First, my vodka gimlet was made with lime juice - without syrup or Rose’s Lime Juice. The other was that our server specifically said his name was Dillard -I asked twice- and when I got the bill, it said James. It just bothers me when the details don’t match.
Fabulous atmosphere, service, cocktails, food and people. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great atmosphere and decor, upscale but with a casual dress attire. Food excellent and perfect portions. Excellent service!
