Summits Wayside Tavern has such consistent great food and service which is tough to find these days. Josh checked on us several times and was very friendly. I highly recommend visiting and will keep coming back!
Check the web to make certain they’re open. Drive an hour to get there. Arrive at 4:30 for a beer and an early dinner. Big sign says open normal hours. Walk in. They tell us they’re closed for a “special event”. No offer to accommodate us, not even a drink at the bar.
If you want to grab some pub food this is a great place. The staff is always super nice, food is good and the atmosphere is fun.
Summits has been a favorite of mine for a long time. The food, service, and environment are consistent and I know exactly what kind of experience I'm going to get.I have been by myself for lunch and large groups for dinner and the experience has always been great. The garlic fries are a must!
Bar staff was excellent. Potato chips were yummy. Asian salad was missing cabbage in description but was good. There seemed to be a lot of regulars who spoke highly of the place.
Our service was above average.... 4 of us spent Friday night attempting to participate, in the triva contest...we had to give up and leave, 4-5 questions into the contest. Our waiter pleased us and was very personal, belonging to us.Hard of hearing, I will not bother to bring any other clients or, any friends...Hard to see Keno, so far away...In the early 90's I always went to Summit. After 6yrs, not as awesome...
Really liked this Sports bar concept. Menu had plenty of choices, focused around Burgers & Wings. Menu stays focused on core competencies.What I really liked was the substantial beer selection.Thought there was good quality to value ratio here as well.
Great variety of beers and good pub food.My wife likes their Asian bowls.I had the most unique Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich I ever had. They do bacon instead of ham. And put wing sauce on it. I liked it.Fries are good too.
Good beer selection, but they always seem to be out of what I want; in this case, four different beers! Service was excellent! The waiter was friendly, helpful, and timely.The seats in this place are all hard and uncomfortable. I guess they don't want to to stay too long. ;-)
You will be satisfied with the middle of the road selection of food and the diverse beer list. Affordable and welcoming but nothing to write home about.
