After reading the reviews on here I thought we would give it a try.Apparently they only show the good reviewsbecause we did not like this place at all.The food we got was cold and had no flavor at allnot even the sauces.We both got sweet tea and it was not good either.So we grabbed a bottle drink and it was warmand flat.Very disappointedTo the owner who responded to.my review.First of all it was a joke about only showing the good reviews.I know you can not filter them.And second I left a review like everyone else who has ate here.And my opinion was me and the rest of my party I was with,.did not like the food or the experience here.And no we didn't have covid.I just can't believe the owner of this establishment would go on a personal attack of having a disease just because we didn't like the food..
Absolutely the best ribs I ever tasted in my life! My boyfriend, my best friend and I were thoroughly satisfied, impressed, and delighted by the amazing customer service of the owner and staff and the deliciousness of the food! The sauces were so savory and I could tell they were house made! I really don’t understand what the most recent 1 star review id talking about. Clearly they didn’t have the Sweet and Spicy sauce! (Our favorite) Everything was hot and juicy and all of us were so satisfied! I can’t wait to come back and try the new brisket that they are going to be adding to the menu.
Got the pulled pork sandwich and cole slaw. I chose from various sauces that they make in-house! I tried the Carolina and the Habanero - both were top-notch and probably the best I’ve had. They have a couple other sauces such as a sweet sauce and another less spicy one that I didn’t try… but if I had to guess they’re probably great. Lots of other things to choose from on the menu. The service was super fast - my food was ready before I sat down! (Of course it wasn’t too busy when I was there but it was still awesome to get the food so fast it was like magic). Great lakeside marina bbq spot with an eye for quality.
The best smoked bbq in North Georgia! Its a great location on the lake! ????Offering ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, smoked wings, ginormous burritos, Cajun Taters and home made sides. We pour local craft ?draft and canned beer and soon will be serving up “Q’ed-up Frozen fruit smoothies”, special cocktails ???and our exclusive Shot-skis! ??Memorial Day weekend will kick off a new 6-day week schedule! On Saturday and Sunday mornings we’ll be serving breakfasts. Come join us on Summer nights and sit out on the pavilion and listen to live music! **Soon we will be offering dockside service too!!

Great barbecue at the lake! Enjoyed the friendly service and the pulled pork sandwich was excellent. I might tinker with the sauces just a bit. Enjoyed the patio to catch some NFL while we had lunch. Great place on the lake.
Stopped in today for a late lunch while I was on the lake with my waverunner. I’ll be back for sure. Probably the best bbq on the lake. Sooooo good.
Visiting from Tucson AZ and wanted a little BBQ. What can I say but wow! The ribs are probably the best barbecue ribs that I've ever had in my life. Judson the owner is a class act himself, big movie fan and a pleasure to talk to. Next time I visit here which I will be doing I am gonna make sure to stop by smokies and get some more of his famous ribs!
Worst food we've ever had. ??????????The so called owner just replied to me so I'll have to edit this Our group did bring all this to his attention and we were just ignored. .. Our group had ribs, pork, chicken, wings, potato salad, beans,and tasted all the sauces. Nothing was edible and I mean nothing. The fact they are clueless says you can do nothing to help them. The beans were just canned beans, the pork and chicken was so dried it was not eaten. The ribs were pre-cooked in his oven then put on the grill to smoke so all the smoke was concentrated on the outside and it dried the ribs out. The potato salad was just nasty. The wings were edible but were old. The sauce well yuk. the fact they served this garbage tells us they have no clue at all. I guess that's why they make you pay before you get your food !
