While we've been a couple times before, the food and service was great. This time around, there seemed to be confusion on what 1, 2, or even 3 eggs look like and irritated us enough to write this review. We ordered this past Sunday and a couple of the meals seemed to be well, half eaten. My daughter's kids meal and my meal were severely small for the egg portion. If anyone has ever cooked eggs before, you have a pretty good idea of what you could expect when you order. When bringing this to the server's attention, she acknowledged that what was served looked inaccurate. She then went on to try to tell us that the egg's they used are different than others and that they are smaller. Well, we've ordered the same thing there before and have never seen a portion as such. If you ask me, they were running out of eggs in the kitchen and if that's the case, tell the customer to order something else or close the kitchen down. Business shouldn't take a customer's money and not offer to make it right or course correct. Won't be back. #rippedoff
Great service! We enjoyed our breakfast, the coffee was hot and plentiful. I had Eggs Benedict, they were cooked perfectly. I had the potatoes but someone else ordered the gouda grits and that will be my side on our next visit.
Highly highly recommend. Can't brag enough on the food here. While I've been 4 times now and have had a little bit of everything, I've got to say I most enjoyed the eggs benedict, shrimp and grits and their scratch made cinnamon rolls. Their specialty lattes are also really good as well as their fresh orange juice?. As a new place there are always a few kinks to work out (both times I've had a biscuit it was overdone/dry and swapped it for an English muffin) but they have always been very accommodating and friendly and perfection for a new place takes time - but they sure are pretty close this early on in the game!Update : After several months its only gotten better. Tried the mystic French toast today and after thinking it would be too rich I can happily say that it was delicious and the fruit on top really helps cut the richness of it. Great customer service also! Love our local Reveille Cafe!
You're just gonna have to believe me. It was delicious. Had the "Which came first" with the gouda grits. Chicken breast was juicy and is great topped with bacon and cheese. It was very busy due to 4th holiday but Tyler S was all over it. Great teamwork by the staff to help each other cover tables. Definitely coming back.
Almost removed a star for them installing toilet paper upside down!I'm from out of town, looked for a local place.I had the Creme Brulee French Toast. You know it is good when adding syrup takes away from the flavor. It was great on it's own, straight off of the griddle.
First time visiting here with my son and daughter-in-law. Not crowded at 10:00 am.I ordered the scrambled egg whites, turkey bacon, wheat toast and fruit, with decaf coffee. Very hot and fresh! Loved it!Gave them a 4 star rating b/c our server forgot the creamer. I had to find some from another empty table
Food was great. I was skeptical of Gouda grits but they were actually quite good. You can get basics and also fancier fare that I may try next time around. Only get 2 strips of bacon with breakfast, so I had to order a double. Bacon was a bit greasy and a little too well done but not bad.

Met the ‘rents for a quick breakfast before work yesterday and it was a delightful experience. The Reveille Cafe offers a wide range of yummy breakfast/brunch options, bring a pot of coffee to the table but also offer a wide variety of latte options and have friendly servers all in a casual yet homey cafe atmosphere - think counter service and booths (however they do have tables to accommodate larger groups). While I was on bit of a timeline, Jay our server was exceptional in making suggestions and never making us feel rushed. The only thing missing was the mimosa!
