I read a review which indicated the restaurant is not 'authentic'. I don't know if it purports to be that, but we too are well traveled and I felt what I ordered was quite good. I wouldn't confuse it with a Michelin starred place but it was just as good as some little restaurants I've been to in Italy. It's not Il Mulino but it's not Olive Garden either. The rooms are cozy and somewhat dark, with comfortable separated booths. The salad is plentiful, predictable and serves the purpose. The dressing is light and yummy. The rolls are dripping with garlic and butter, a blessing and a curse. I ordered cioppino and requested it be made with white sauce. Our waiter said yes without a bit of hesitation to the request. It came out in what I could describe as a light alfredo or heavier butter sauce. I got a glass of lower-mid range chardonnay, it was the best one they had & it was adequate for my meal. The kids got small fettucine alfredos and spaghettis. My meal was delicious, and generously full of clams, mussels, good-tasting large shrimp, and perfectly cooked scallops. Service was prompt and friendly. The visit made everyone happy. We'll be back for sure, and I'm ordering the same thing.
Good food and atmosphere
Charming as always with a personable staff. We particularly appreciate manager Jeff Meyers, who I have known for more than two decades via his work at another Provinos, for his consistent individual attention and high quality of character.
Server was a little quiet. The good was good. Atmosphere pretty nice. I'd give a 3.8 really but not too bad at all. I enjoyed.
Second time here and again not thrilled. My wife loves the salad the garlic rolls are ok if you love bread with chunks of garlic doused in oil. Tonight (valantines)I had the fettuccine provino and I must say it was horrible. Straight pasta with the bland Alfredo sauce not a spec of seasoning. I literally shook the salt and pepper a dozen times on it for flavor. Frozen dinner would of been better. Wife said hers was fine so that's why it's not 2 stars. I won't be back if I don't have to. Super bland I was in disbelief and still am. It was water with milk that's all I was tasting. Avoid the fettuccine at all costs
Great atmosphere and great service. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. I apparently ordered the wrong dish: my chicken was swimming in butter. Not impressed with it! The panna cotta was delicious!
Great atmosphere!! Beautiful and clean, and food and service was amazing. Thank you so much. We will back, great experience!!:)
Good food and service. Not as good as the Buford location unfortunately.
Great dinner! Our waiter was attentive and fun. The food was excellent. We had a great first experience and plan to come back. This is a great spot to celebrate birthdays.
Food is always good, we enjoy the all you can eat Salad and we'll buy dinner salads to go occasionally as they are excellent. Food was hot and good sized portions. I like extra red sauce for my Chicken Parm so always ask for it and they always bring me more. We usually ask the waiter to cook the garlic rolls a bit more as we like them crunchy with the addictive Garlic butter. You get a lot for your money and the atmosphere is family and couple friendly.
