I wouldn’t even this place a one star… my son and I went there for a quick bite and the hostess/ server was not at all interested in us at all, not even a smile. We had ordered our drinks and told her let me go ahead and just order my sons meal first. Before I knew it my son was done with his dinner and I received the check…. Ummm I don’t even get, May I get you anything else?? She legit left the check and walked off without saying a word. That spoke a thousand words, basically telling me to leave, so we did without me having my dinner. And mind you I am not one to complain especially me having a restaurant of my own. I would never tolerate this type of behavior. I understand times have been hard in our industry but learning to adjust to new times is key. Learn to acknowledge a customer when they walk through your doors. Of course I will never go back.
I was trying to find good things to say about this place but have none. The service was absolutely terrible. Acted like they didn’t even want us there. The cheese dip was basically water. The food itself had no flavor. And we waited forever for drink refills so I honestly don’t have anything good to comment unfortunately. Would never go back!
One of our regular stops. Food is always fresh and delicious. Very varied menu. Texas Margaritas are the best in the area. Service is outstanding. One of those "everybody knows your name and glad you came places!
I had dinner there and the bill was $29. I left a cash tip of $10 (30% dispite the poor service as others have stated) and paid for the meal with my debit card. 2 days later i check my bank statement and I was charged $40
Please stay away from this place, you will be disappointed! The food is stale and the service is terrible. You will be forced to pay for food that’s stale, cold, and microwaved.
HORRENDOUS AND ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE!! (7/9/22)The time we spent having our dinner, the waitress made us feel like she’s donating food for free (and she was also angry about that); did not get a feeling that we were buying food or service. She almost banged the plates on the table.15 min into our dinner, the waitress slapped the bill on the table and asked us if we are done!!The food and place was fair⭐️⭐️⭐️Management/ Mr Owner: Why is there no manager/someone to supervise and keep a check on your customers’ plight? I see that we are not the first ones to call out this ridiculous service. Not sure if you are reading your customers’ reviews; don’t see any responses or assurances from you either. I still can’t wrap my head around the experience we had at your restaurant.
Service was slow and not knowledgeable of menu items. Was told they don't have frozen drinks i.e. frozen margarita!! Whaatt?? I ordered beef nachos and they were below average, no taste. They have two different salsas, one was so spicy it burned your mouth, the other was bland and served warm?? Never heard of that. Waitress could barely speak English and we had to point to what we were ordering. Maybe this day was one off but I won't be back!
Our server was friendly and helpful, and he'd o ly been working there a few days. The food was delicious--better than regular tex-mex restaurants. We enjoyed the warm chips and salsaswgile waiting, too. We will be back.
There was glass in our salsa server kinda shrugged and went on her way. No manager nothing. There were only two tables in the whole place and we were one of the two. We just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave. I knew it was not going to be good when I opened the menu and the pages were stuck together. But glass in the salsa is dangerous and should have at least warranted a manager visit. Finally went to bar and paid for the drinks and cheese dip which we all immediately had stopped eating and drinking after the glass was discovered. I did warn the only other table there about the glass. We went across the street and had a good meal. Eat here at your own risk. Can't believe health dept hasn't shut this place down.
Place looks good inside and familiar like a mexican restaurant. Location isn't the best but we found it! The service was absolutely terrible, one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The best part was the 12 year old that played host and sat us down.The lady we had for a server didn’t speak up or even look at us. I ordered a margarita and i have no idea what she brought. Made me feel sick. It was also warm, then I ordered a corona (too scared to get another margarita), it was also warm lol.We spoke to the owner, he was cool and tried to help but our experience was already dead. He made us feel better and comfortable but the server and drinks were so bad we wont be returning. So bad that we didn’t even order…
