Definitely the OG of Forsyth County fast food. In fact if you look at maps of the 1800s the Willingham family had this lot. It's lot number two in Forsyth County and it's been in their family all this time. Stopping at the Dairy Queen here is a tradition that goes back decades. Like a long long time. It's clean it's good and the service is really good.About the only issue is sometimes the line gets pretty long but that is pretty much to be expected when you're an ice cream restaurant in 95° weather.Don't miss the barbecue sandwich it's actually really good. And the chicken strips with gravy are another hit with my crew.
Where to begin. The owners wife is rude and disrespectful. If only she knew I come get my kids ice cream dang near everyday of the week. They have apparently raised their prices (which is fine because inflation is taking place everywhere), my issue is they have not changed the prices on the menu but want you to pay more once you get to the window and then they are nasty about it.My family and most of my friends told me about this Dairy Queen we will be going to Bruster’s going forward where they have real ice cream
Decent ice cream only restaurant in Forsyth County that still has no indoor dining after it closed 2.5 years ago due to Covid hard to get ice cream home in time to eat before it’s melted they are not having dine in due to staffing everything else has been open over a year ago and other restaurants have recovered hope they can get it straightened out, they have good food though and the County Courthouse workers could use an extra place to sit down and have lunches that are affordable
I was so thankful that even though they closed the inside for business that they opened the doors so that we could use the restrooms as needed. Super kind!!
Dine in isn’t open yet, after 2 years. Drive through is super slow and the royal blizzard doesn’t have the chocolate in the middle. Not super good for the price, but not terrible.
my husband and I ordered the $6 meal and asked if we could get it without cheese but add slaw and the guy was happy to give us what we wanted. very friendly and very clean. glad they have opened the doors again
This Dairy queen has a quite the line but also quite the quality, both in workers and in the food we got. Very happy with our visit.
Wins award. Worst DQ in America. Drive thru ONLY months after the rest of the US opened. Blizzard with only a dusting of Snickers. Paid for extra chocolate AND malt. Got neither. They hate dogs. Pup cup is whipped cream at a soft ice cream place. Really!? Know many dogs that want whipped cream instead of ice cream. They charge extra for chocolate ice cream. Never again!
A Peanut Buster Parfait should have hot fudge right? Right. Almost zero in ours Rude staff intent on personal issues instead of serving customers.
Prices were decent but the drive thru schematics are completely absurd. Chicken tenders were rather small and fries are better at other DQ locations .
