What a pleasant surprise. An unassuming location and storefront with big flavor and great service.It's hard to find good Cuban style food but this place nails it. The in-house mojo is delicious.Definitely on our revisit list.
Our first time here and we would love to recommend this local authentic Cuban restaurant to everyone. Great food with good customer service. The portion of the food is generous comparing to the price. The taste is awesome! It is DELICIOUS! Our server was so nice and fast! The price is affordable. We definitely will come back. Please come support the local business! I will take pictures next time. We finished the food too fast, I forgot to take pictures ?.
As a Cuban myself growing up on the food, I tend to be really critical when I go to other Cuban restaurants. I love Cocos! This family restaurant is authentic and delicious. The papa rellenas are my favorite and a must try. I'll definitely be back.
The food was delicious! We both got Cuban Veggie Sandwhiches. It was nice and quiet with easy access.
The food is delicious but customer service can definitely improve. I just stop by at 8:15 to order a to go order. I waited for 5 minutes at the register. After 5 minutes I was finally acknowledged and ask if I am placing a to go order and if so the kitchen is close. You guys close at 9 but the kitchen close at 8:15? Disappointing.
I love their food. Their website says Dine-In and Takeout only. Wouldn't answer their phone, so I drove to the restaurant to place an order to go. They were "not taking anymore Takeout orders tonight." Too many other choices for me to spend my dining budget on. I've been a regular for years. No more.
One visit, for dinner, was pedestrian, not very authentic. Vaca frita was just OK, black beans not good at all.
We would’ve given them a 3. Although the food was good, our first food choice was not available. The service was quite slow and the waitress was very rude at the end. Given these factors we gave them 10% tip but she told us : “you probably need that more than me”. What in the world ? Her comment wasn’t necessary. Can’t imagine how this business has managed to stay in business this long.
So so so good!!!!! The Cuban sandwich is great but the star of the show were the papas rellenas (stuffed potato balls)!! The texture is perfect and they are - oh - so savory ?
Great food...wife got the chicken sandwich and I got the pork, both were excellent! Also subbed the sides for Yucca and sweet plantains and those were delicious too. Saw some negative reviews for the service, but to be fair, the servers are also the cooks so can't really fault them for being a bit slow. Overall, a great place and will definitely be back.
