The drinks where very good !! We just got appetizers. They weren't that great!! I would give them another try tho.

Cheeky has recently opened with a new updated menu, concepts, environment. The bar is now the centerpiece of the restaurant the bartenders are a above par. Whitley goes above and beyond as a bartender to make your experience great. Their new seafood boil bags have great flavor. Their older classics like their tacos are still excellent. The new crab dip is phenomenal!!!

When we were taken to our table I had to wipe it down. The waitress even was standing there as I wiped it down. The food did come out very quickly, but the chicken was extremely dry. The waitress did not come by to see if we needed anything nor were we given napkins, I had to go find them myself. The only time anyone came by was when they came to see if I wanted the bill. I will not return.

Recently went back to Cheeky's after their renovations and I will say the atmosphere is great and the food is as as good as always. Also shout out to bartender Steve he is always very friendly and mKes some great drinks. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Took 1 hour to be seated. That's OK. But it took over an hour to get our food. There were 11 in our party. Two people in our group received their meal AFTER everyone else was done.Poor service. Mediocre food. Will not return...

It was just ok. Service was fine. Ordered 2 tacos. The shrimp taco had 2 pieces of shrimp, the chicken taco had 2 really thin chicken tenders. Like finger sized.

I don't know why anyone would spend their money here when there are much better options close by. You want a more upscale date place ? CT Cantina Taqueria @ Halcyon on exit 12. You want really good Tex-Mex food in a pretty nice setting for a fair price? Las Palmas Mexican Food on Bethelview Road. The list goes on. Frida's is across the street.Cheeky is poorly run, chaotic, and unprofessional. The vibe is hard to describe, but "run down" comes to mind. It's dirty. The vibe = low quality. No one cares is another way to describe the joint. Most of the staff are kids, a highschooler at front of house and younger folks as staff, which is fine in of itself, because look at Chick-filet around the corner, they are busy 24/7 (when they're open), but still are consistently super excellent despite being staffed by mostly very young people. They smile, they say thank you, sir, and genuinely try to deliver a good experience. The way the Cheeky is run tells me whoever is in charge has no clue or doesn't care. In my time at the res, I saw no organization whatsoever (Today I work in corporate, but as a college student I was a waiter for 3 years), I saw no one greeting guests coming in, except for the busboy because there was no one else around? They weren't even that busy....there was no excuse for how chaotic it was in there. There is a lot of staff running around in a silo trying to do their job, and let me reiterate the individual staff are fine and are trying, but there is no leadership, no commitment to delivering a overall good customer experience A to Z.So I think if you're looking for a mediocre experience, sports on TV, a very ordinary bar, sub par decor that is not so clean, then I say Cheeky is for you since probably the reason you are here is that it's kind of close and you don't want to drive to someplace better.Except that Frida's right across the street and is 100% better. And there a million places on exit 13. Y'all deserve better.Every restaurant at the collection I've been to is pretty good. I live down the street. Cheeky is NO BUENO amigos. NO. BUENO.ALSO. Read all negatives below. NO ONE from Cheeky has responded or tried to reach out. They don't care. Why support a business that simply could not care. And TBH the food is so sub par I can't believe people are paying real money to eat here when very good options exist close by.

We went in on the day it was snowing. Literally there was one other group in there. A lot of staff just standing around waiting for people to come in. Everyone was friendly. But you could tell they wanted to be home due to bad weather.

I ate here the last time a couple of years ago and was not impressed. I thought I would try it one more time. Probably won't go back again.Food quality D+ Ordered wings and ist they had almost no flavor. Another another person in our party ordered a Cuban sandwich. It was below expectations.Service C- -- wait staff was nice but not very attentive. Someone from the kitchen delivered our food and knocked over the salsa. He either didn't notice or chose to ignore it. Either way he started to walk off & I had to call him back. Add to ask several times for napkins, plates etcCleanliness C -- Our menus had food stains from previous guests. Overall appearance of the restaurant was just kind of grungy

Great Mexican restaurant, lunch portion are humongous and the complimentary salsa and chips are delicious and fresh. Friendly, fast and great service. Will definitely come again for lunch.
