First time trying this place, did pickup. Brisket, pork, and rib plate. Everything was extremely dry and dull. Food felt old and over cooked. The rib bones were mushy with dry meat, the shredded pork was dry and bland, and the brisket chunks broke apart like it was old. I love mustard base sauces and this sauce had the sharpness of mustard without the balance of everything else. Hush puppies were good, green beans were pretty mediocre. Maybe an off day but I’m not sure about buying another ~$25 plate to find out if this wasn’t normal.
First time visiting this place. After golf me and my buddy decided to stop for some BBQ. I had no idea that it was going to be a religious experience. Took one bite of the Cowboy beans, stood up and went to congratulate the staff. Had the two meat meal, smoked turkey, sausage, collar green and the Cowboy beans. I couldn't wait to get home and take a coma. Needless to say I bought some beans for the next day. The place was a little small but I would be selfish if I didn't give a shout out to this place. Every time I go to this course I will make a stop here on the way home.
Yes there BBQ is great but everyone sleeps on their breakfast, seriously wish they had it all day. I go to places with reviews claiming to have the best biscuits in the world, but seriously they must not have gone here. Bacon Egg and cheese if my favorite. The bacon tastes smoked and it's super thick yet very crunchy and juicy (flavorful), while the biscuits are huge and can tell they are made from scratch because they taste amazing!
Delicious! Had brownies and brisket, with collard greens and garlic parm fries.Everything was good but the brownies were especially worth the trip.
Food was good and decently priced. My grandson got that had more chicken on the bones Dan most wing . The waitress was friendly and personable -- the type of person who well put a smile on your face even when you're feeling blah. I will definitely visit again when I need to take someone for a nice meal and friendly atmosphere.
I have never heard or visited this establishment BUT it’s a wing place in Decatur using these cups.It brought me to you guys page and you have pretty decent reviews…will have to try you guys out!!
Loved almost everything. Ribs were fall off the bone. Coleslaw and bens were just right. Service was sweet and southern. Brisket was a little dry and lean for my taste but will be back.
After enjoying a BBQ dinner here a few weeks ago, we decided to try their breakfast. And we were not disappointed. Huge, amazing pancake, delicious bacon, and fluffy home style biscuits. The staff is so friendly and service was excellent. We will be back!
Amazing food and service!! We came into the restaurant with a huge group of 22 people. Our waitress Ashley was on top of everything and did an excellent job of serving us and everyone in the dining room. The food was amazing! We had family visiting from North Carolina and Canada. We will definitely be back!!
Some of the best BBQ in Georgia. I began cooking my own BBQ and realized most places rip you off or serve a lesser product out of ease of production but Big D’s does amazing every time. Some of the best breakfast you can get as well. If I’m ever near a Big D’s I make sure to stop for one of my meals.
