THE SERVICE WAS AWESOMENESS FRIM THE ENTRANCE TO OUR DEPARTUREThe day and afternoon managers were both great during transitioning shift change. My 3 out of town guests were so impressed with the staff's kindness, patience and attentiveness as well as quick service. The food was GREAT. They played 2 happy Birthday songs for girlfriend. The communication with managers and their staff was refreshing to see so much respect and team work.. The entire staff was pleasant, engaging and professional. The best ever Waffle House I have ever eaten in.. I'll recommend them to every one.

Wife had a great breakfast, mine was partly forgotten, as I had to remind our waitress that I didn't get my bacon or waffle. Then, the bacon wasn't crispy, so it got sent back. Still was decent.

We all know what waffle house is. We all know what we are getting when we go there. But this has to be the worst waffle house in Newton county. Even though there were two empty tables, one clean and one dirty, we were told we had to wait on the dirty table to be cleaned. Despite several waitresses standing around talking, after 10 minutes of us standing there, the manager had to come over and clean the table off for us. Then, a couple who arrived right after we were seated, was seated in the other table we were told we couldn't sit at. After several more minutes, the manager had to come back came over to take our order. Halfway through, one of the waitresses who had apparently been in a deep conversation with another waitress finally came over to take over. And then... Nothing. After 20 minutes, we had to flag the manager down to get our drinks. A few minutes later, our waitress showed up with them, and one of them was wrong. Then a cook came off the line to bring us our food, after we inquired about it, not our waitress, who was standing on the other side of the counter staring out the window. And we didn't get all of our food, but by then, there was no way we were going to try and flag someone down, and wait on it. And after waiting another 20 minutes of trying to find our waitress to get our check, we finally walked to the register, where they had to ask her for our ticket. I'm not one to complain, And I'm not one to not tip. But there was no way I was leaving anything on the table for that poor excuse for service we had today. I've never left without paying before, but I was real close to doing it today. There are 4 or 5 other waffle houses in Covington, choose any of the other one's, and you'll be fine.

They’re so slow! I only come to this Waffle House when I absolutely MUST. I wouldn’t choose this as a favorite at all. The environment is loud, they talk over the food, they play around, it’s just chaos. It’s not quiet or peaceful and they’re all over the place. Personally, don’t recommend this one.

Awesome waitress but not such good quality of food for some reason. No flavor in the watery gravy and I couldn't fit through the bottom of my biscuits

Watched 2 male cooks scratch their hair while cooking. One server had a uniform that was to small on and her stomach and butt was hanging out. Very unprofessional and unsanitary

The server Amanda friendly and efficiency was excellent. Highly recommend this waffle house

Please tell the cook to change his gloves and wash his hands. I just seen him touch his durag with his gloves on. Smh. Don't make no sense.

Had a unacceptable bad experience with this particular restaurant on Christmas day at 5pm. While many customers were present, It took over an hour to get a to go order that was given out incomplete.Why? Many of the employees were just standing around unconcerned while only a couple of them showed attention. Some potential patrons came in and walked right back out due to all the nonsense going on.I decided to post only to get the attention of others and management who need to train their newer employees on how to provide better customer service when the restaurant receives high traffic. If it's like this on a holiday, how is this acceptable during normal business days?...a former customer.
