We stopped in on the way back to Indiana. This place was one of the best BBQ's I've had in years. The brisket was tender, fall off the bone ribs. Try the Daddy's sauce. It was really good. The prices ae reasonable and the staff is friendly. I will go back if I am ever in the area again.
I went by “The Pig Out” today before 1pm and the owner was there cooking. I told him I’ve never eaten there before and wanted to look at the menu. I said “I may be back to pick up something for dinner, do I need to call ahead to order it?” He said “NO”. I cooked our sides for dinner; and went back at 6:14pm to patronize “The Pig Out” for the first time. I wanted to buy a pound of Pulled Pork, Chicken and Rib Tips. The young lady told me they were out of all of that; the meat they have is Ribs. So I went and spent my cash at another BBQ restaurant. So, the 1 star is for the service, I don’t know what their food taste like.
I just called to order and asked one simple question about the chicken. The young lady didn't know and hung up on me . I came into the store and spoke to her and a young man that was eating a platter and working both said they don't know if they have chicken . Then someone came from behind the counter out of the kitchen and finally says "we only have legs and thighs!" A whole 20 minutes just to find out they didn't have wings, which is what I wanted. There was ZERO professionalism here. Infact no one appeared to be an adult. Looked like a bunch of kids . The service or in my case non service , was absolutely horrible! ZERO STARS !
Ordered a sandwich and a full rack with baked beans. The meat was exceptionally smoked and flavorful. Definitely worth the stop on our off the beaten path trip.
Best Bbq I have had here in GA. Truly repping Memphis BBQ.
Looking rib tips. However, was not ready at time. Got pull pork this time. Very tasty. One issue, the health department rating was not posted at the time. Explained the importance of having it posted and the legal requirements. They were able to locate it, fortunately they had a passing score at the time.
I got a pulled pork sandwich coleslaw. Everything was so good and the price was not bad. They are not stingy with the meat, that’s for sure! This is my new go to spot for good barbecue.
We've been here a few times. Love supporting small businesses. The ribs are delicious. Was disappointed that we paid for ribs but weren't able to get them the same day due to some issues. We were offered a refund which was awesome. But we decided to keep our order and wait the next day for pick up. They are that good. The potato salad is delicious too, just add a little paprika when you get home.
I just left out of this restaurant and it's ghetto as far as professionalism is concerned. I walked in it's 3pm they close at 9pm and they have ZERO ribs. The man in the back cooking looks like he hates his life being there and the lady ringing you up doesn't know the menu but was at least nice. How does a BBQ joint not have ribs, it's baffling. I will never go here again.
Real BBQ cook on their own grills pits And NOT BOILED as some others do.. the sauce was Great!! This was FALL OFF THE BONE GOOD. You get a great bite on every rib bone.
