Great pimento cheese sandwich & fried okra
Me and my husband went yesterday for the first time I'm here tell y'all the food was outstanding ..I got the 5oz cheese burger and taters tots the burger was tender the frozen and my husband God chilli and slaw dog with onions rings out of world he said rings were also home made and chilli was good so will be back for sure the service was great ?

Great food and friendly service! This place is a must if you are visiting Covington. My coworkers and I eat here quite often for lunch and have never been disappointed.
Foid was great. I had hamburger steak with gravy and pinto beans along with potato salad and roll. Very good.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times and found each meal to my liking. The service is friendly and prompt. Since each meal is prepared individually there will be a short wait. However the meal is worth the wait. The menu is not extensive but you will find good choices. We usually have the 5 oz cheese burger and small house salad. The salad was cold, crisp and fresh. You cannot beat it for $2.19!! There are several rooms with 4 tables for 4 and several tables for 2 on the main hall. The space is beautifully decorated. The owners kept the original 12 foot ceilings which make the inside feel spacious. The space is kept clean with good spacing between tables. The hamburgers are made from the freshest meat I have tasted and are delicious. There is not a better burger in the city. The owner is there working daily with the serving staff. Good management and good food. A combination that makes for an excellent restaurant.

Pride in ownership is what I think when I order. All the restaurants that are in Covington, in my opinion this is the best! Great employees and service. Many blessings Tava's keep up the good work.
