Expect to have a wait here during peak hours. If you're looking to dine, place your name and walk around the square. They will send a text when your table is ready. The goat cheese appetizer was so good! I highly recommend, the subtle saltiness of the cheese combines to well with the dried cranberries and pecans. I also tried the chicken sliders which were good but really needed more of the pepper jelly. Definitely worth a stop.
If you’re a vampire diaries fan then this is a must see. If you’re not a fan, well, the food is actually pretty good. I expected that the food wouldn’t be very good but actually I was really impressed. The only thing is the inside of mystic grille does not look like the inside as shown in vampire diaries. Seems like they did the mystic grille scenes somewhere else.
Nice place to visit. Our Waitress was nice and prompt. The place is clean.. However do not expect the inside to be Vampire Diaries perfect. But in the ladies room bring a pen and sign your name. I'm the "Klaus is life 2022" post.. Lol. The only sad experience was the bartender forgot to make our alcoholic drinks. So we had them removed from the bill. But it was done quickly and with no problems at all. Don't lose your receipt it's worth 10% off the Alley store downstairs. Have fun.
The food was great and prepared in a timely manner. The atmosphere was nice and staff was very friendly!
Of course, I had to come in because of The Vampire Diaries and was not disappointed. Super friendly and efficient wait staff. I was grateful they told me where all the signed menus were and about the "In Memory of..." bar chairs even without me having to ask. The food was also delicious. I got to try the grouper sandwich and the mystic grilled cheese and loved both. Great remoulade on the sandwich. The jam and jalapeños on the grilled cheese really made it unique and was oh so good. Will definitely go again, if ever in Covington
Great food, great atmosphere! We didn't have too long of a wait and the waitress was very nice. If you visit the vampire diaries store in the ally way and eat here first you get 10% off with your mystic grill receipt. I had the clock tower burger. Very good!
Awesome place, incredible staff very friendly. Highly recommend, appatizers we're unique and delicious. You won't be disappointed!
