After waiting 40 mins for our food, the grits were cold, clumpy and tasted and smelled like a mildewed rag. I called to ask if I could bring the grits back for a different side item, but I was told I could only get my grits replaced with more of the same grits. After paying $18.99 for 4 salmon bites and old grits, plus being charged $3 for the creole sauce that comes on top, I will not be returning. First and last time visiting this establishment.

I first I wasn’t really going to make a review but hopefully she excepts constructive criticism well especially when you are in the food industry or any industry for that matter as an entrepreneur I always love to support black businesses as I want myself. I feel like the food was overpriced and not worth it I don’t ever mind paying for good food!! My chicken wings were undone!! My fish was mushy / greasy and the breading was was FALLING off. The macaroni and cheese completely inedible was NOT good at all (taste or presentation etc.) the grits! Was No!! Stiff flavorless The only thing that I will say was edible was the fried okra because that’s previously frozen… Customer service was OK I believe If she get a good chef back there she can go far … unfortunately my video would not upload

I patronized K's Fish and Grits on March 11, 2022. This was my FIRST visit. The customer service wasn't good, friendly or inviting. As, I wasn't greeted upon entry. But trying to remain optimistic I spoke and mentioned it was my FIRST time trying their establishment and didn't quite know what all they had. There were no suggestions offered and just nothing to engage the consumer (me) to want to purchase. Again unfriendly service. So anyhow, I ordered the Catfish and Grits. Even the owner came out to the register anid she didn't greet me! However, the owner/cook( a lady/K?) had time to talk with the two workers in the register area while my food was been prepared. Then the owner says after several minutes (about 15-20) says I'm waiting for your food to get done. The food was DELICIOUS. It wasn't packaged as I expected or hoped for. There was 1 big piece of fish lying right on top of my grits. Thus, making the underside of the fish soggy. Pictures are attached. I had taken a couple of bites? Customer service is the reason for 2 Stars. When someone thinks enough to support your business the LEAST you can do is provide friendly/cordial service and make them feel Welcomed!

They've gotten rid a lot of my favorite menu items. They're more of a lunch spot now than brunch a spot which is disappointing because the area lacks good brunch.

After spending $80 dollars on food and waited almost an hours for the food to be prepared just for the food to taste old and burnt. The fries was dry burnt and on top of that cold. The fish taste as if it was over cooked and cooked in old grease. Not even going to speak on the customer service just know this was the Worst experience ever. I’ll never return nor will the people we referred

The ladies in there today were awesome, I been waiting to stop finally found time and wasn't disappointed at all. Nice development of a place ?? I had the fried salmon (killed it) and grits ?? worthy try. I'll return #locksmith

On Saturday October 2, 2021 I ordered whiting with grits/ cheese, biscuits and 2 salmon patties. Im dealing with pain in my stomach today and yesterday and diarrhea. When the daughter came in she didn't wash her hands, no gloves while ringing up customers order and dealing with customers food. I will have to go to the emergency room if my pain and diarrhea don't stop.

I drove all the way over just to patronize this Carryout and it was closed, at 11 am on a Friday morning. They are not sticking to the hours of operation advertised on the internet.

I have been here three times, ordering different items for my family & myself… and everything has been delicious! The price is good & the food even better. I can’t even post photos because I tear through the food too fast! If you have the opportunity, you must do yourself a favor & grab something from this place. You will not be disappointed. Don’t forget their lemonades too, those are also delicious. I ain’t had nothing, that was off. I’m definitely coming back, on damn near, a weekend basis
