Went there for lunch it was excellent had the brisket plate it was delicious even without the awesome barbecue sauce and the fried Okra was very yummy and crispy
My wife had visited Jack’s late last week and came home raving about having eaten ‘THE BEST BBQ BRISKET EVER!’, so we decided to go there again yesterday. I Googled the restaurant to see what the menu looked like, and the menu looked really good. Once we got there, we ordered a combined two brisket sandwiches, an order of rings, a side of baked beans and a drink. The bill came to a hair over $26.00. That didn’t seem to jibe with what I thought the menu prices were per the Google site, but I didn’t want to make a scene so I waited till we were eating to check my ‘facts’. By my calculations, the bill should have been roughly $18.00. So, when one of the staff came by to check on us, I asked about the perceived price difference, and was told by ‘Jack’ that the Google site showed a menu with outdated prices..in fact, the brisket sandwich which Google showed at $4.95 was actually $7.95, etc. Also, per ‘Jack’, a new menu with updated prices has been submitted to Google several times, but to no avail. As for the actual food, the onion rings and baked beans were terrific while the brisket, while very flavorful, was fatty and not in abundant on either sandwich. If Jack’s is aware of the outdated menu on Google, I would think the posting of a current menu on/around the front door would be a ‘heads up’ to anyone coming in with Google prices on their minds…

Jack's barbeque has a small friendly atmosphere and the people there have true southern hospitality. The barbeque is truly awesome had to get some for later and it's hard to impress me but their food was truly amazing. He now has a true lifelong customer. Would highly recommend it.
Food was amazing & the workers were so friendly & welcoming! They also have shirts & trucker hats for sale there. I think I found my new favorite restaurant while traveling.
Wow, just Wow!! First time eating here and we were not disappointed. Pulled pork plate was absolutely amazing. We finished it off with hot buttered pecan pie! As if the main meal wasn't enough to knock your socks off, the pie was heavenly!!? The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back to this gem!

We had almost all the meats (pulled pork, brisket, short-rib and spare ribs) and it was wonderful! The meat is so tender it melts and the flavor is super good. Will definitely come back and i recommend this to anyone in amsterdam it’s the best in the city. Vibe is excellent with american country music makes you feel just like in the US. Finally, the hospitality! The owner/host was just lovely and very helpful we felt just at home! Really recommend the short rib and brisket don’t miss out.
Wow amazing!! Vinegar based bbq sauces,moist tender meat. I love them.
