If I could give negative stars I would. Separately the customer service is great, everyone is so nice and prompt.BUT AS FAR AS THE FOOD ITS HORRIBLE. It just breaks my heart because I prefer checkers over other fast food and I can not get a decent meal there to save my life. The milkshake turned my stomach and sent me to the bathroom ( I bought it 3 different times on different days because I thought they just needed to clean the machine better). Every time I ordered a chicken sandwich it tastes old, tough and hard so I can’t eat it. It tastes and smells as if it’s been cooked in week old grease. Just stay away from this location. I’m finally done waisting my money so please save yours and go somewhere else.
The guy who took my order lied about the ice cream machine being broken. When I got to the window I could hear his coworker asking for him to make her a milkshake. I asked him how is that possible if the ice cream machine has been “broken for 4 months?” He said they only make it for doordash orders. I had such a bad night and just wanted ice cream and this was the only place open. Just don’t lie to people…
Had to wait a little for food to be made fresh and to order, but it was worth it... Would return
They told me to wait in the parking lot and they would bring my food out.. 15mins later still no food, finally got out the car go get my food and it's wrong
3/20/22 9:30pm Ordered 5 things, got home and they shorted me a burger. Tried to call several times and they wouldn't answer the phone. Thanks guys, just stole that $4 from me. Also yall need to put some money into the place. So many lights burned out it looks closed at night when it's not.
DoorDash didn't let me down, y'all did!!. The second time I've ordered something and it's cold. I don't know what happened because I order a few times before and everything was nice and hot.
I went here for a doordash order. Waited a good 30 mins in the drive thru. Finally got to the window and witnessed the GM (Brittany) yelling and cussing at the staff. The doordash customer ordered milkshakes and I was told the milkshake machine was down. So the customer said they would accept sweet teas as replacements. I told the workers and was presented with an attitude, following with some curse words. Mind you, I have 2 children in the car. Brittany told me she was not giving me the replacements (they were sitting on the counter right beside her.) I then got the drive thru door slammed in my face and she called the police. She stated to them that I was being “belligerent,” when it was obviously her. She needs to be reported. Her behavior and customer service is unacceptable. From the moment I pulled up she was yelling & cursing. Worst customer service I have ever seen. Very BELLIGERENT.
The general manager is very rude . Cussing her workers out . While we waited 30 minutes for our food she got an attitude with us and cussed at us because we wanted 2 extra sweet teas since their milkshake machine wasn’t working . . She threw the straws at us and called the cops because she started a scene
I love Checkers. I know it's trashy fast-food, but honestly, I love their flavors. The sauce on their burgers is delish, and their fries can't be beat. Have only had one shake let me down (wasn't fully mixed so all strawberry on top and all vanilla on bottom), but overall, the Covington location is great. The cashier is super friendly and always calls us baby. Haha
My children love Checkers. The many that we have visited this location in Covington is by far THE BEST!! They make food to order, it's always fresh, hot and delicious and the service is wonderful!! They always have a smile on their faces and take pride in their job. It's refreshing to say the least. Especially when food service attitudes is so horrible these days.....
