Barb’s is on our way to the lake and we always try to patronize local businesses, so we stopped in for lunch. The inside is clean and spacious. It’s tastefully decorated as a country café. We were greeted immediately and seated. The server was pleasant and friendly. Our drinks took a couple of minutes because our waitress wanted me to have fresh sweat tea. Everything on the menu looks delicious, but we decided on the Country Fried Steak and BBQ chicken. They were not slow in serving, but I knew that the amount of time meant that each dish is prepared fresh. Everything was excellent and the cornbread is as good as momma makes. The size of the servings was very generous, and I got to take some home. We were checked on often but not so that it was bothersome. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. If you’re in the area, or even close by, stop in and see Barb. You’ll be glad you did.
Everything was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly n we felt right at home. My burger was exceptional. My husband got the Philly Cheese Steak n he said it was one of the best! Now we want to go back to try their Breakfast. Which they serve all day. Perfect!

This place is awesome. Hasn't been around very long but everything I have ordered was very good. The staff is very friendly. Food is cooked to order so it's always hot and fresh. I highly recommend this place if your in Covington. They have an awesome breakfast. I will be back many times.
Y’all I can’t say enough good things about this place! We went in today for the first time and just wow, the service was impeccable (our server went above and beyond to make my 5 year old feel included and important she even drew her this portrait), The chef actually came out and took our order while our server caught up which really impressed me. The coffee was hot and fresh and the food was just like your grandma is serving up on Sundays, I had the sooner which is on the lunch menu and my best friend had the sunflower off the breakfast menu and we weren’t disappointed at all. We can’t wait to come back and try the whole menu!! Thanks for a wonderful experience y’all!!!
Unfortunately, when we got into the restaurant I feel like it went from empty to 20 people in a few moments. The place was neat and clean I just think they were understaffed at the moment. It took around 40 minutes to get our food. The portions were kind of small for the price but was cold when I got my plate. I hope it will be better experience next time.

Who could turn their nose up at this? Quaint, friendly atmosphere where they ask you if you got enough to eat after your meal. I highly recommend
