If I could lower the one star I would!!! I was so excited to try this place, we love going to places we’ve never been as a family. Once my daughter and I walked in, the guy at the counter gave instant attitude. He looked at us, walked away. Came back said nothing, I said hello how are you? He picked up the phone and started talking.. I waited, once he got done I said hey how are u today.. he literally had the -_- face as he said “good, what do u want to order?” So again I said, are u okay today? How are you? He again said, “-_- good what do u want to order” I WALKED OUT!!
I ordered the birria tacos, outer shell was harder than a rock. Sauce was okay, could’ve used more spices. Chicken (I can’t eat beef) was dry. My son had some nachos which I tasted and were good, the chips tasted old tho.
Great Mexican food and the service is always fantastic. You can tell they really care about you having a good meal. Bottled drinks and my wife loves the salsa bar. Several Mexican favorites are off menu so ask if they can make you something. (E. G. Chilaquiles)
The tacos and caldo de pollo are so good . Definitely recommend this place !!! If you haven't tried it , do it!! You won't be disappointed. The tacos were stuffed full of steak and the meat was tender and delicious. Will be back!
The best handmade corn tortillas! I come every week. The service and quality is spot on!! Very authentic and big portions
I order here all the time! My advice to people who eat here is please have an open mind. If you like El Charro style food this is not it!This reminds me of the tortas my costarriqueña grandmother made growing up!So with authenticity in mind, something different in mind, its a 10/10. Horchata is good rice and beans ok but …Wth ?♂️ there is no kind of seasoning on this meatThe salsa won’t even save these gd tacos?♂️Guess they’re saving money on seasoning
It was my first time having the food here. I enjoyed my tacos, and my fiancé enjoyed the nachos from here as well.
Love, love, love this spot! My order consists of steak tacos, gorditas, burritos & all of them are great! This is the go to spot if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food! Trust me I’m a foodie & hands down Taco’N Madre is by far the best!
These are my very first Birria tacos and it was kinda bland! Or maybe that's what it's supposed to taste like?The meat had all the bad parts we remove before eating (YOU'VE BEEN WARNED) you can see most of it next to the cup of mostly oiled sauce! Which you don't get much of! I ate most of the first one before making this review.
