Ended up leaving. Only wanted a bag of ice and there was 3 cars total in the drive through. Because we weren't ordering food- we pulled in to order at the front. There was a table full of people waiting for their food. A lady ordered at the menu, but when it was my husband's turn they said he HAD to go through the drive through. By this time, more cars had pulled in. There was no way we were going to go back to the line and waste gas at these prices to wait for just a bag of ice- after we had already waited I. Line outside.. The young man came out twice to bring things to the table of people after they told us we had to go through the drive through. We drive next door to QT and met with 2 other groups of customers that were turned away. Very disappointing.
This Sonic needs better employees or management that's capable of communicating with paying customers. The drive thru service needs to improve with employees that have patience and are comprehensible leaving the attitude on their Therapist couch. Take the time and hear my order before interrupting then there wouldn't be exchanging of attitudes. DO BETTER!!
The drive through employee seemed distracted so I was patient. Then when we got to the window I realized it wasn't because she was by herself she just chose to walk away in the middle of my order. I don't understand why they say to ahead with your order and then don't take it.
The food was good. The experience was also for the most part excluding the woman that was taking the orders who would get mad and be snappy at you for not hearing her on the crackling speaker. She made me almost not want my food and the truck next to me as well. Luckily I still got my food and it was a polite young man that brought everything to us.
Unfortunately my last two experiences at this Sonics were less than desirable. I went there on Monday to try their new Bacon on Bacon dbl cheese burger. I pulled into a stall to order and pressed the red order button. A message comes on screen acknowledging me. However 10 minutes later I'm still sitting there, leaving me to wonder have they forgotten me. Anyway I leave and vow to return for that burger another time. So the next day I have the opportunity to go back again. This time there is no line and I pull right up and order the new bacon dbl cheese burger. Here's what I got. First I notice the cheese, I don't know about you but I like my cheese on a burger at least partially melted no such luck. I have two slices of cheese looking like they just came out of the plastic wrap. Next I notice I can't see any burger meat so I open the burger to see two of the smallest patties I've ever seen. This is supposed to be a quarter pound. They must be including the patties the bacon the lettuce the bun and the wrapper to get that weight. One thing was as advertised there was a load of bacon in every bite. Now if they just add some burger meat they may have a winner. Not hard to fix Sonics, so fix it!
Ordered on the app. Took me 15 mins to get there so I chose a time that would ensure my order was hot when I go there. Pulled up and checked in. Order screen said my name and that my order was on the way out. Waited 20 mins past the time I was supposed to pickup the food. Went to speak to a crew member. After speaking to two members that had no clue I ordered anything, I said I wanted my money back. The manager never came out. She, it that person was a manager said to call the 800 number on the app. Waited nearly 30 mins before I could speak to someone. To only be told it takes 10 or more business days before my money would be refunded. The whole ordering on the app, driving there, not getting my food, then waiting to speak to someone for a refund was all frustrating. What's the point of ordering ahead of time to not have anything to show for it. I've tried so many times to give sonics the benefits of doubt but at this point I am NEVER going back. Horrible service, deleting the app, horrible customer service. Delete, delete, delete!
With only a few cars, the wait was a little long.. The food was hot. The waiter was ok
I see why it’s three stars. 4:58 3/13/22 the young woman at the window is very unprofessional and this is my second time experiencing her. Both times she was rude af. This time my change was 1.94 and she hands me 1 dollar and says your change is .94 cent but i don’t have it to give so….and closes the window. Ma’am take this 6 cents and give me my dollar. Her attitude is really messed up and it doesn’t look good
The grease needed to be changed. I know it was around lunch time, however, old grease is not good on the stomach. It's bad enough I'm eating fast food and the burger had way to much garlic butter on it. The lead, manager, trainer or who ever scolded the drive threw worker which should have taken place behind the scenes. She seemed like she was learning the ropes. Patience for your employees is also customer service... No one wants to hear you chew out your worker.
I got a cup of ice there earlier and I fell asleep. Woke up there was still a little ice but I was going to drink the cold water. A shadow was in the bottom. I give it a closer look it’s a roach. I been sick throwing up every since. This is right now I am sick!! I don’t have bugs it was at the bottom of the ice, and had the ice not melted a little I would not have seen it. I still have the cup I’m definitely reporting to the board of health.
