I would have given them 4 stars because their chicken is always hot and fresh like I used to get back home. However, EVERY single time I go there the red beans and rice is the WORST!!! And yesterday it had no flavor the beans tasted like water! I worked at Popeyes as a teen and I'm fully aware that the beans come in a bag and all you have to do is warm them up. Why are y'all adding water are you trying to stretch the beans? Not to mention them dry biscuits! They never have any butter on them or any strawberry jelly! That bad business!
You can't go wrong with Popeyes Chicken; Delicious as usual. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is the manager. We came in with a coupon on the Popeyes app, before I could explain what I wanted, the manager stated you got to order online. I explained to her I chose the option to redeem in the restaurant, she replied you got to give it to the cashier. (He had just stated he didn't know how to apply the coupon. She then called the cashier away to get ice. There was at least six people in line after me.
Very disappointing have not had Popeye's in about 12 years. I never order fast food. And I am pescatarian. I saw Popeye's had a fish sandwich and was curious because the reviews stated it was tasty. Placed order online at 5 arrived at Popeye's at 520. They couldn't find my order. Cashier did not know what to do and the manager just stated its not here you have to wait. Around 540 after several folks had ordered and left. So I finally asked should I cancel my order. Manager stated let me look it had finally come through. She walked off and asked the young lady on sandwiches to make my order. No apology nothing. Just blamed the on line system. The only saving grace was the young lady that made my order was friendly. And my hubby and I thought the sandwich was half way decent. Considering Popeye's is multi million dollar corporation. They need to work on there on line service system...
They NEVER have mac and cheese so why do they advertise it. The food is always delicious except for their biscuits that are always hard as hockey pucks. They should leave them out. They are always out of mac and cheese like I said before and usually coleslaw. They should take the mac and cheese banner out of the window and menu. I ordered 2 fish sandwiches with extra tartar sauce. When I got home there was no tartar sauce. I didn't eat them. What a waste of money. I need the sauce to tone down the fish taste.i do not live nearby so I couldn't go back.
This is how a Popeye's should be run! Friendly courteous staff, fast efficient service, hot fresh food! ITS BEEN SOOO LONG SINCE WE HAVE HAD FAST FOOD SERVICE AND QUALITY LIKE THIS! The manager should be proud and corporate pleased with this store!
I have been doordashing and eating here for quite some time and I just want to say that this team goes above and beyond to make sure that I get my order and then I'm eating at a timely manner with fresh food at all times.I absolutely adore the staff the manager is always so kind everyone is always happy and smiling even through stressful situations and this place is always super packed and pushes out beautifully hot food every single time I will continue to pick up orders here and continue to eat here thank you for everything that you do.
Two stars, but only because I love their chicken so much. Went in for a quick bite to eat around dinner time and the staff seemed to me like those they really wanted to be somewhere else. The bathroom was pretty disgusting. They were pretty busy, especially in the drive thru, but they had so many people working there. I wondered what most of them were actually doing other than hanging out in the dining section which was closed due to COVID. Despite how busy they were I didn't have to wait too long for my order and the order was correct.

The service and food quality at this Popeyes is poor to say the least. The drive thru is slow and the food ordered is normally wrong. Friday I want inside to place my I order and even though I repeated it there times they still got it wrong. The cashier entered it correctly but the person getting the order got it wrong. Good thing I checked all the bags before I left. Also, why aren't napkins and ketchup put into the bags? Luckily we were going home where we have these items. Straws as well. I think Popeyes needs to train their staff on how to interact with customers. How to be courteous and as they are in the service industry they should not be out front with the customers while having a nasty attitude. I will no longer go to this Popeye. Chic fil a and KFC will come before then.
Our chicken was cold and dry. When we asked if we could have fresh chicken she said that it would be 25 to 30 minutes. Also she offered us chicken that was not spicy and that we would have to wait five or six minutes on that. I had one school of beans in my bowl and the rest was rice also it was cold. I was very unsatisfied with our purchase. Popeyes has always been my favorite place to eat on the go.
