Highly recommend! , Outstanding customer service and great music….
Customer service is poor. This is the third time with the same experience with the bartenders. The first two times I excused it away to them being busy. But this time my husband and I were the only two at the counter. The bartender barely (if at all) acknowledged us when we sat down. She took forever to take our order. We had to ask for water and the drink menu. We order mixed drinks and an appetizer. I’m no bartender but I thought the mixed the drinks before handing them to you. Well, if that’s the case, we had LAYERED drinks. Two other patrons came in after us (no immediately about 5-10 minutes). She served one guy’s drink right away (he must’ve been a regular patron). She walked around what appeared to be intentionally avoiding eye contact so we couldn’t ask for anything else. My husband had to say “we’re ready to order”. She said ok (no just a moment…nothing. She couldn’t say she was busy because the people waiting came after us) and proceeded to assist the regulars. As she went to get a pad to take our order (with the sigh and the eye roll) she comes back and takes the order like the rude diner waitresses from a movie or something. We don’t know this lady but the attitude towards us felt personal. She was friendly with the regulars, so I assumed it was we weren’t regular patrons. I don’t know. It was so obvious the patron that came in after us told her to put our order in first. When the food arrived, my appetizer came at the same time. In the process of her engaging others and intentionally ignoring us, my husband tried several times to order another drink. To no avail. So after serving our food she checks to see if the regulars were ok, never checking on us or the quality of our food, she rushes to the door for what I assume is a smoke break (tobacco, weed, crack…whatever her addiction of choice is…definitely not positivity). My husband says “Mommy, mommy” to which she yells across the restaurant “WHAT”. My husband says, “I ordered another drink and you just going to walk off?!” She says “YOU DID NOT ORDER NO DRINK!” Then I respond you didn’t see because you’ve been intentionally avoiding giving us service!” She tan yells some more for someone else to be our server, she won’t say nothing to us and we don’t say nothing to her. I didn’t understand the aggression and lack of professionalism. However, I wasn’t at work!!!!!!! So I let her know she can control her behavior but she can’t dictate mine. Thus, I will say what I want to whomever I want and she can have all of this….drinks and meal. That’s when we left. My husband wanted to reach out to the owner Floyd. But it’s not the first time we’ve had that experience with her particularly. One of the other times she took forever to serve us all the while complaining to us about another patron. Again, I dismissed it to busyness as the times before but we literally were the only unserved people upon our arrival. That being said based on our visits with the same experience, I feel as if the owners have to be aware of and allow the behavior. Perhaps the change will come when it affects the bottom line. I work too hard for my money to feel like simple requests for service is an irritant or interruption to your smoke break. We’re not Nancy’s regulars but my money spends like everyone else’s. My voice is as important as others. I will match your energy. Unfortunately, hers was one of disrespect. Now for me that is the face of Nancy’s.
The experience was nice until my server/manager comes to inform us 1 of the 5 pizzas we ordered went to the wrong table. He said it would be a wait. One of us sat there and watched every else eat. When I received my check, I noticed they charged me for the late pizza. When, I asked to see the manager the server says he was the manager on duty. Young guy with glasses. I mentioned why should I pay for a pizza that was late. He says sorry comes back. Instead of taking it off, he gives me a $2.14 discount on a over $100 bill. Not happy!
So glad that I decided to check this restaurant out. Even more excited to find that it is black owned. The food was hot and delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Our server was Juice and he was very attentive. We stopped in on a Friday evening and enjoyed a night of Kareokee. Will be going back!!!

Super tasty pizza and the waitress was the sweetest. It was busy and short staffed but she was still efficient and doing a great job. Bar made a good Rum Punch too. Will be back for more!
This is the first time I have ordered from this place and the money spent and the experience was subpar. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and a side of garlic bread. The pasta was dry and tasteless and cold. Bits of chicken that basically added up to a chicken tender. The noodles were under cooked and stuck together. There was hardly any to no sauce. The garlic bread was a small sub sandwich bread that was completely doused with cheese. The cheese on both dishes were so over powering that it was all you could taste. For the price this meal was very disappointing.
