We have been trying to get to this place for a while now. The atmosphere is retro 70's with lots to see on the walls. There's a mascot posted out front for pictures and they mostly have pizza. But burgers, salads, soup and hoagies are available too. We got the lunch special, 2 topping 2 slices of pizza and a fountain drink. The place was busy and the line went fast. The slices were very large and there are free refills in the fountain drinks. We really enjoyed the meal and will be going back, my wife was eyeballing the salads and I wanna try a hoagie. Bring a sweater because the AC is on super chill mode.
I had to stop and post a review. I have been a dedicated Mellow Mushroom fan for years, but lately something has changed and not for the better. I ordered a large pepperoni with extra cheese and this is what I got. Is it just me or is a large pie not supposed extend to all corners of the box. When I said something to girl up front she said it’s just oval. When I said this isn’t even a large, she said she’d ask the chef/cook; returned and said he said it’s a large. When I said well I guess no more mellow mushroom, she said have a nice day. Are you serious... If this is the new level of quality and customer service - when you can clearly see something is wrong and the customer does not appear satisfied, well I guess I, friends and members of the family will have to take our business elsewhere. So dissatisfied!
I got a meatball grinder which was sub par (I think they call it a Hero but it's not a Hero if it doesn't save the day). Nowhere near enough meat. The sauce tasted like it came from a can. And not a lot of cheese, which also tasted generic.The staff is friendly. And I haven't tried their pizza. I hear it's good. I would go back to try their pizza. But stay away from this sandwich. It is not a Hero (maybe the menu called it a hoagie, can't remember).
Service was lightning fast from start to finish. The food was delicious and came out in minutes. Really enjoyed the atmosphere there.
Great place to eat. Delicious pizza. Amazing wait staff. Even gluten free and vegan options for those that want it. Will definitely eat here again, many more times!
After ordering my dine-in meal, I ordered 10 piece garlic parmesan wings to go. Upon the waiter bringing the check, he shared with me that my to go order had been 86. Amazed at how nonchalant the information had been conveyed, no other explanation was given other than the kitchen had made the executive decision to cancel the order. I was told not to worry they didn't include it on the bill. No manager came to rectify the situation. The waiter expressed his anxiety was on an all time high, and yep, they expected me to just deal with it. Disappointed to say the least.
A loud restaurant but fun and lots going on. Service was excellent and enjoyed the food! Could have been a little cleaner.
My neice ordered their pizza to go as we were passing through the town.Very delicious and well made. It did not feel like a guilty pleasure. Felt I was eating something healthy. I would definitely order again.
Driven by this place in a few cities for years. Never had the pull to go there. On a date night, my husband and I decided to try a new place and this was it. Fun decor inside, lively people and the pizza.... exactly what I was craving and so GOOD! it was one of those times where we thought, why the HELL did it take us so long to come!
The House Special pizza and garlic cheese bread was really good. They don't cheat you on fresh toppings. And for take out they have curbside pick up.
