This Mexican place is a really good place this location is in Conyers on a really busy plaza where you can find a lot of business in case Mexican food is not your choice this place I understand is been there for extremely long time and the owners are really nice people the have a lunch especial and also have a fajita lunch especial they don’t have it in the menu but they have it at the disposition of the customer if customer request it. The salsa is fresh and is really good love the place is one of my favorites around that area I really enjoy been around there. On the restaurant you also can find the combinaciones is a bunch of mix rice with beans and chicken or tacos or tamales etc etc. A los of choices for the need of the customers. Also they have a bar for margaritas and never forget about the cinco the mayo as wellThis place is 100% recommended and by going over there you contribute of the small business economy as well
This restaurant charges $5.50 for cheese dip in-house and it’s in a 4oz bowl. There are no refills on the cheese dip either. You can order cheese dip to go in an 8oz container for the same price of $5.50. They are getting over on everyone that orders cheese dip and eats in the restaurant. I told them that the container they bring to the table is only 4oz but Junior (the manager) tried to argue with me that they to go container was not larger. I actually measured it when I got home. He lied. The takeout container is 8oz for the same price.I’d recommend that you order your cheese dip in a togo container so that they aren’t charging you double for less.It annoys me when businesses think we are stupid so that they can get over. It’s WRONG and I believe illegal…
We ordered 2 lunch specials both thankfully had a taco that was good. The rest of the food had been microwaved to death. My chilie reno didn't have any poblados or chilies it was just plain gross. The waiter was uncaring and didn't even check on us. Pass this place up if your traveling . I gave it a star because the taco was good. (But not many places can mess up a taco. ) Most of the people who were there weren't eating just having drinks that should have been a clue. We travel frequently and this isn't one of our regular stops nor shall it ever be.
Good service, atmosphere and the food was awesome. Would definitely go again if in the area.
I went to Los Brovos today And ordered 4 asada tacos . And the order was wrong by time I went home is when I noticed . I called the restaurant to let them know the situation and that I was coming back up there . I was very kind about it. I go up there and a male manager in a orange shirt was very rude for no reason . Cutting me off and giving attitude. I go up there for the same thing every week. I will not be giving any more service to them. I don’t know what the attitude was about but every time I would go in there he gives attitude about something .
We just moved to Conyers from Jacksonville FL. This is the 4th mexican place we've tried and probably worst. People are friendly and the house margaritas are STRONG AF! But that is where the good points end. Husband draft beer was flat. The salsa was weak, as was the queso. Husband ordered the steak fajitas and didn't eat 1/4 of it. I made up my own combo and nothing was impressive. I ordered a standard soft ground beef taco, a steak taco, a tamale and rice. Our waitress Marta didn't write our order down so of course it came out wrong. Steak Taco was dry, rice had a basmati rice flavor which wasn't bad, but not what you are wanting when ordering a a Mexican rice. The soft taco was standard and the tamale was the absolute worst I've ever had . We won't return.
We received a very small cheese dip cup that could barely fit a chip and the cheese was nearly solid, we were charged $5.50 for this. The prices were very expensive versus the quality of the food. Out waitress was nice, but the for the price the food was just not up to par. I really used to like this place, but this was not a great visit. I left feeling like I wasted my money. Waited a very long time for our ticket and the waitress even commented “we looked like we were about to fall asleep”. This place is not what it used to be and It’s very disappointing
The service was good until it came time to get the check, then we could not find an employee to cash us out. I had to ask for someone to check us out. The Carnitas taco I had was fresh and delicious. The food at this restaurant never disappoints.
The staff is very unprofessional. The son, Junior allowed me to make reservations on 11/30 via phone. He stated my staff and I could be seated in the back area at 3:30 p.m. on 12/17. When we arrived we were told that they could not honor our reservation. The father, who I am told is the owner, refused to even seat us any where in the restaurant. He told me that we could go to a near by restaurant that could accommodate us on a Friday. I am so glad we took his advice. The staff at the next restaurant accommodated us immediately and provided top notch service. They were quick and professional. I usually patron at Los Bravos and I am very disappointed in their service. I will NEVER step foot back in that restaurant again. I went Monday on 12/13 to inquire about music and appetizers and I was never told that I could not make reservations on a Friday. I was never told I had to pay to rent out the room. I was never told any of this until we arrived and the full party was there to witness as he pushed away. They were awful and I do not believe they were being honest about our reservations. They just did not communicate and were not on the same page as father and son and we had to deal with the outcome of that. #horribleservice
I've loved this place for gosh...16 years or more. The BEST quality Mexican food you will find in Conyers or Covington. Everything is excellent but if you have not tried their chicken soup....your life is not complete! Lol
