Went for Valentine's day..Great Food..Great specialty Drinks for Valentines day. Don't remember the name but it was a strawberry drink with strawberries cut into the shape of a heart. FILET was on point and lobster tail was perfect..attentive but not overbearing wait staff..definitely a fine dining experience. A++
Wicked Hen was the model experience for a Saturday dinner. The food was delicious, the wine selection was serviceable, the waitstaff was attentive and friendly, and the cooks know what they are doing. The pork belly was some of the best I've eaten, and the jalapeño cornbread tasted just like I'd been teleported to my grandmother's house. Also, you'll want a slice of key lime pie.
Another solid Columbus restaurant. The dining room makes this place special. Really clean and classy space. Food was unique, adventurous and surprisingly great! Only improvements I would like to see are a house made lemonade. Not a fan of fountain drinks. And the parking is shared in the square — so not a lot of space for customers.
Krystal is Sensational! She is a Spectacular Bartender. She’s personable, professional and just a great woman to talk to. I had a martini and it’s the best one I’ve had since we moved here 3 months ago. The food makes you want to keep coming back. My husband and I have determined that this is the Best Restaurant in Columbus. They have a fabulous cheese board that leaves you wanting more. The entrees are decadent and bursting with flavor! All around the Best place to eat, drink and leave HAPPY! Thank you Wicked Hen for being so Delicious!
My wife and I visited Wicked Hen for the first time on a recent date night. The restaurant is nice, but they seem to be suffering from the labor shortage. We ate upstairs, which was a bit chilly, and even though it was less than half-full, there were delays because there was only one person working the entire floor. He was a new employee and nice but obviously frazzled. The food itself was good but pricey, which was not unexpected. We had the pumpkin seed encrusted trout and chicken Marsala, along with deviled egg mini-bagels. All were very good, but the chicken portion left my wife hungry. My wife also loved the Water Moccasin drink, while I liked the Porch Pounder. At $14, the drinks were very expensive for a 4-ounce glass. It’s definitely a special occasion place. Hopefully, they can get their labor difficulties resolved so that the outing can be even more special.
Excellent food! Excellent service! Only visiting for a week but will come back before we leave! Krystal was our server and she was amazing! All her recommendations were spot on!!
Terrible Service horrible rude staff. This restaurant does not believe in customer service and does not value its customers. Wicked Hen Please do better
We had a large gathering and our customer experience was horrible! The server was rude and impatient! Our food was cold and we waited over an hour to get it and it came out at different times. Some of our party was done eating before some even received their food. A couple of people didn’t receive their drinks until almost finished eating….I could go on! I do not recommend this restaurant for large gatherings but looking at some of the comments on Google this restaurant has an even bigger problem! Train your employees or get some new ones it has potential to be a good restaurant but unfortunately it’s not!
I had the Pecan-crusted chicken with the sweet potato waffle and it was wonderful! The chicken cooked to a perfect juicy tender goodness. let's not forget the sweet potato waffle that's not too sweet and pair's well with the savory chicken. the zucchini was grilled and seasoned as well
Our server upstairs was working so incredibly hard. She was awesome! Unfortunately the food was a tad mediocre for dinner . While the options seemed unique and promising, it didn’t deliver fully . The shrimp and grits weren’t all that . I will say that the bite of the sweet potato waffle with the pecan chicken was so scrumptious! The homemade icing on the carrot cake was good but the cake itself was cold and lacking unfortunately . Nothing made me want to come back except maybe the review I read about the brunch menu and the Cuban in particular.Pretty empty for a Friday night , don’t think reservations are a must
