I really use to like this place. but the past 4 times ive ordered the food has either been cold when not suppose to be cold......thrown together like feeding a dog...or something is always missing from my order. this last time was just it for me. i ordered through door dash. You took forever to prepare my meal. And then when the driver told you i was missing items from my bag she said your young teenagers you have working in there didnt care. wouldnt do anything about it. So when she asked to get what was missing the employees told her to never come back and pick up anything. Ive have been in there multiple times. Your young employess have bad attitudes and act like its bothering them they have to stop looking at their phones to help a customer. Maybe you should consider hiring more mature adults who want to work.
I went there today to order my food and gave them my name and sat down, this girl came up to my table with my smoothie and said “I don’t know how to pronounce your name, here’s your smoothie, whatever” and she tossed my straw on the table and walked away . I don’t know her name I just know she was white, it was very rude. You don’t toss stuff to customers and say whatever and walk off. Will not be going back .
Ordered two hummus veggie wraps with maple sweet potatoes. Ordered extra onions and roasted red pepper for one of my wraps. The avocado was SO salty. There was like 3 black beans per wrap, no pickled onion at all, and . It was 90% romaine lettuce. The avocado ruined the whole thing being so salty. Then the sweet potatoes had NO maple flavor to them whatsoever.I called the store to let them know and ask for replacement meals. The manager was incredibly unhelpful. He said they don't make the sweet potatoes in the store so there was no way to fix that. And the only way to get the wraps remade was to bring them back. I explained I had no time to bring them back as I was on my lunch break. He just kept stating their policy. Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting for $27. I will NEVER waste my money there again.
Good stuff. Especially the quesadillas.
Love tropical smoothie! Peanut paradise with Splenda and pea protein! Great options if you are vegan or vegetarian but still need a good dose of protein after working out. Sub the Splenda or even half Splenda for the turbinado that comes normally in the drinks, less sugar= less carbs!!
IM A REGULAR CUSTOMER COMING TWICE A WEEKI came in at 530pm 05FEB21 with my siblings and ordered my usual smoothie. Right off the bat the customer service was very poor the lady was very rude yelling “girlfriend that’s yo drink” and when I was trying to pay she said “don’t you usually come here you know how to work it” when my drink got called out I they called it by the wrong name and instead of correcting themselves the drink just sat there until I asked where my drink was I asked the drink to be remade due to the fact it did not taste how it usually does I believe they didn’t remake it cause it came out really quickly and tasted the same as before I eventually asked for a refund I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT
No more Salsa Verde but still great options for a quick meal. Clean and quiet. Wasn't busy around 11am. Lots of parking. Quick service.
I was a customer since the new location opened. The food was great. But lately the food and service is not at its best. I purchased my meal online and I went there to pick up. My order was not ready so I waited almost 20 minutes! On top of customer service being bad. My order was overcooked/burnt! Unfortunately Tropical Smoothie Cafe has turned me and my family off and they have lost some loyal customers.
We were from out of town and ordered on the App. After getting turned around, pressed for time trying to drop our soldier off for training, we ran out of time trying to get our order. The app would not let us cancel, even though it had a button for it, said to call. Called the # 29 times or more throughout the day with no answer, trying to cancel the order. Never got through at all. We tried within 5 and 10 minutes of placing the order. Charged my soldier $25 for an order we could not pick up or cancel. Least they could do is answer the phone and say “sorry”. If it is not a working phone, fix it! They sure got a way to charge you!
I will have to give Tropical Smoothie Cafe at the location 5555 Whittlesey Blvd, Columbus, GA 31909 one star. I have purchased the same smoothies ( Very Berry Cranberry/ lime added and Blimey Limey with extra lime at the Ft. Benning location and both smoothies tasted GREAT. But this location the taste was weak and it did not taste of Cranberry. Instead the taste more like strawberries/bananas with no lime added. I will not be going back!
