Awesome waiter and great food
Great and courteous service and the food was fantastic. We had a party of 12 and everyone really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere! I had the Shrimp & Grits, delicious! My wife had the fish(grouper) and love it too! We’ll be back!!

Very Unique place. Friendly atmosphere, clean. Food was great. Being downtown was a great experience.16 oz Ribeye had great flavor on the outside, inside was dry, flavorless, and little on the tough side. The Cuban sandwich and the Bacon Cheeseburger was wonderful. I would recommend the hot pitas withe the BLT dip, this was a treat. Their Ranch dressing is really good!!!Our waiter could have been more attentive, but the atmosphere was awesome.I definitely will be back again when I am in Columbus!!!
This restaurant is very cute and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful.We ordered the BLT dip as an appetizer. The pita chips were excellent, the dip was very much a mayonnaise dip. One party had the crab cakes. They were fine. The hamburgers had by others were also good. Overall, it was a good experience.We stopped on our way through town, so I can't say that we'll go again.
My wife and I were traveling through and saw The Black Cow is the best steak in Columbus, driving straight there. Waiter was very good, atmosphere ok but more great. I got the 16 oz ribeye, pineapple casserole (waiter recommended) and mashed potatoes. Pineapple was diff and good, mashed potatoes were bland, steak was 1.5” thick, cooked s as requested and very tasty (med rare). My wife got the 10 oz ribeye (med), cheese grits. The steak was thinner than Golden Corral, over cooked and bland. Grits were like cardboard. Do not believe the 5* reviews on the steaks. My steak was a 4, wife’s was a 1, so I’m upping the avg to 3. Get something else if you go here.

Meatloaf sliders, fried green beans, pineapple casserole, pork chops, loaded baked potato - all super delicious! Staff was pleasant, happy, and over-the-top helpful. Will be returning each time we are in Columbus.
Made a point to ask the host her name- Never been greeted by such a genuine sweet individual! Usually the younger generation aren’t so friendly but this host was! Made the rest of our experience pretty wonderful. Management: keep hiring people like her! Food was pretty good too, BLT DIP !!!!!!
Ordered takeout (had eaten in the restaurant before and had takeout before). This time the shrimp and grits only had 1 shrimp. Very disappointing quality control and really soured me on The Black Cow.
