Had the beef egg rolls and jerk burger egg rolls needed to be fried a little harder jerk was very spicy but was packed with flavors
Me being a Trinidadian… this food isn’t good at all but I bought it so I have to eat it I don’t like wasting food! This food is Americanized, the meat was bland but spicy? The cabbage was bland and the rice was very much so bland I’m pretty upset but the bartender made me a very good drink while waiting for my food! She did a great job so that’s why I gave two stars…

We ate at this place on either March 30th while visiting Columbus. They should refer to this place as a bar and lounge. It is definitely not a restaurant as the tables and seating were lounge appropriate but they did not have real tables and chairs for customers to sit and eat. We decided to overlook that because we were hungry. We order, curry chicken, fried snapper, rice and bean, cabbage, plantains and fries. The ONLY things that we enjoyed were the fries. The cabbage was barely steamed/cooked and looked like coleslaw, we sent that back and asked for rice and beans. The rice and beans were dried out. A lot of my rice was hard. The fish was fried so hard that we couldn't open up the fish to get to the meat to eat it. (It was a whole fried fish) My curry chicken had no curry. It was just chicken in a sauce. NONE OF THE FOOD WAS SEASONED. Not one pinch of salt or pepper on anything. The plantains tasted like they had been baked or microwaved, IDK how they managed to mess up plantains, but they did. We were only able to eat most of the chicken (after I added salt and pepper) and a little of the fish. It came to over $60 because we still tipped but we were angry for days afterwards because as we found other places that had better food for a lot less. If I was only visiting Columbus for one day and that place was the only place that I ate, I would have judged the whole city as having horrible food but we did get out and eat at other places. Columbus is a nice town but this place needs to close down or get a new chef. It would have also been nice if they had some more light in there too. It was dark with only red lights. The food AND atmosphere needs to be improved.
I kid you not, we got there at 11:55 PM, we sat down, it took them a min to take our orders. When they finally got our order which was nothing too complicated cuz we had ordered some Jerk chicken wings with fries and fried shrimp with fries, and there were barely anybody in there and it 2 hrs to bring us our food, they brought us our food at exactly 1:56 AM, we had to get it to go cause they were closing at 2:00 AM.
Very chill. Went here for my bday celebration with some friends and we had a great time. Music is good, great service, drinks were good. I didn't eat but my friend's enjoyed their food. Will definitely go back
My hubby took me here for the 1st time last night an when i say the food an environment is welcoming...its delightfully good. The music was also great...just wine down relax an order something..Hate i didn't take a photo.
Don't eat here unless you want to wait an hour and a half for food, even when there's no one else there.
I love this place the music is always perfect the drinks are great and the atmosphere is simply unmatched…I go at least once a week this week I took my hubby and he loves it too. My favorite chill spot!
