First time having a meal here. Seated by a window looking on to First Avenue. Greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable waiter. Started with a chef’s choice appetizer including a creative take on egg rolls, spare ribs, and shrimp. Enjoyed some great crab cakes as well which were heavy on crab meat and light on filling — very well prepared. I recommend the spicy cream corn as a tasty side dish. Did not feel rushed at all and had a great experience from beginning to end. A great place to have a meal and catch up with an old friend!
Great ambiance, great food and great customer service.
If you love plants you’ll love dining under the canopy among a beautiful array of plants. Great atmosphere, and the food was incredible. Fast, friendly service and if you order cake for dessert just know it will feed your neighborhood! It’s outstanding. I wish we had tried them sooner but glad we finally did!
Our party came out of an event at a nearby venue and came in right at closing time. We were welcomed enthusiastically and our comments that we were sorry for showing up so late were dismissed, "don't worry about that, we're just glad to have you here." There were others there at the bar, but we took up a couple of large tables put together. The bartender did not know how to prepare a drink that someone ordered but upon being taught how, produced what my friend said was the best he had had. The food was absolutely wonderful. I will most definitely be visiting there again when I am back in Columbus.
One of the best meals that we've had in a long time. On the evening of our visit, halibut was on special and it was delicious. Beautiful building, professional and engaging staff, and delicious food - the perfect evening for us. Our server recommended the banana pudding cheesecake to finish off our evening and the suggestion was spot-on - the best cheesecake that we have ever tried.
Wow one of the best 8pz filet steaks I have ever tasted. This came with spicy cream corn and Asparagus. Then a slice of banana cream cheese cake
Contemporary decor, wonderful service, and an excellent meal is what you’ll expect. The onion rings (appetizer) were the best I’ve ever had. Spouse had the grouper, I had the crab cakes, which were very meaty and delicious. With most entrees you get to choose two sides, and outstanding was the spicy cream corn (not to worry, it was nothing like the canned stuff). Prices—expensive for Columbus—are actually quite moderate for a fine dining establishment: most entrees are in the $30–$40 range, and our tab with 2 Martinis, an App, and 2 Mains came to $111, and portions are surprisingly generous. I encourage you to treat yourselves.
Great local joint! Great food and service!
Bussiness dinner and the location was great. Amazing ambience, friendly staff, great drninks and food; overall, great experience.
I had made a reservation to dine here several weeks in advance. We arrived around 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday. They appeared mostly full by that point. The restaurant is located about a block off of the main street in Columbus' downtown. There was parking on the street in front, but that appeared full. There were also other parking options within 2 blocks, though. The restaurant had an airy feel, as one wall is mostly windows. There are 2 - 3 semi-separated dining areas. The clientele seemed somewhat dressy. Our waiter was friendly. He described the specials. We opted for a standard beef (me) and fish (wife) entre. Both were good. I think we also split a salad. We also split a dessert. In all I thought this was well worth the price. If you are in downtown Columbus and want something on the fine-dining end of the spectrum for dinner, this is a good choice.
